Really disappointed it wasn't an enclosed garden as stated.
We couldn't relax in the garden due to our dog escaping. We ended up wedging the dust bins to try to secure garden. With regard to parking there needs to be an explanation that you have to park on the road and carry luggage up an alleyway and across to the cottage. However, the cottage was spotless and extremely comfortable! Sykes/owner need to explain that it isn't an enclosed garden.
The cottage was on the whole nice.
But it is advertised as gated garden/yard, but that isn’t so. The bath was really slippery so shower at your own risk. Maybe provide a shower mat for safety. The bath plug doesn’t fit so a soak was impossible. The outside light to the yard doesn’t work so to sit outside at night wasn’t ideal. On the whole we enjoyed our stay but the above needs rectifying.
Farriers cottage is a lovely place to stay in Bridlington.
The location is ideal and centrally located. The cottage was clean and tidy and had everything that we needed. Recommended.
