“The apartment was clean and tidy, lots of stairs.”

Front door was very difficult to open, with a low beam at the top of the stairs had ro be careful not to bang your head. Found the sofa and bed uncomfy. WIFI was awful so was the water pressure. Overall it was a plesent stay, but propably wouldn't return.

The front door issue has now been resolved — it simply needed some AD40, which is quite common in coastal properties. We’re also sorry to hear the sofa and bed weren’t to your preference; comfort can vary from person to person, though many guests do find the bed very comfortable. The low beam and stairs are part of the building’s original character, but we understand they may not suit everyone. We’ve since improved the Wi‑Fi performance and addressed the water pressure, so future guests should have a smoother experience. Thank you again for your comments and for staying with us. “The Apartment was lovely , clean , cosy and the bed was very comfy we slept very well .”

“Lovely long weekend in Scarborough (helped alot by the glorious weather - thankyou for providing that!”

). Apartment is lovely, cosy and well located particularly for south cliff gardens, Spa etc and just a 10-15 min walk into town. Came by train and bus stop handy 5 mins away on main road. Only request i would make is for a sponge or dishcloth to wash up with, wipe around etc, didnt really want to go back out to shops just to buy one. Also can anything be done to boost wifi signal? it was i.possible to watch anything on catchup due to it buffering (& we wanted to watch some of Glasto we'd missed during day). Just small things, would def love to stay again. Thankyou.

“I stayed at the Salt house apartment No 3 for four nights and it was very quiet and comfortable.”

Lovely bed and shower. I parked for free on the road outside without any restrictions and as it was only a 10 minute walk to town I didn't need my car very much. I was on my own and the apartment had everything I needed though some people might miss a microwave. There was plenty of room for my things in the one space which has been laid out thoughtfully. I would definitely stay again.

“This was a lovely little apartment for the 2 of us.”

Cosy and warm with comfortable bed and sofa. Fabulous use of space. Even its own washer/dryer. Easy to boost the heating if needed. A lovely shower room too. The only thing was the hot water wasn't as hot as I would normally have it in the shower. Not sure if this is affected by the heating being on at the same time? Would still recommend

“We booked all 3 apartments has a family and we were delighted with whole place.”

Each apartment was well thought out in design and the facilities offered. it allowed us to gather has a family in the down stairs apartment for food drinks an a catch up.the downstairs apartment has bifold windows which allowed the dogs in and out freely with some lovely hanging lights. There was everything you could possibly need. washers, dishwashers,all your cleaning equipment and complimentary tea coffee and milk and biscuits for your arrival,shower shampoo and soap and towels.the beds and sofas were comfortable too. We loved everything about this place. Just down the road were some lovely gardens to walk around that overlooked the beach and town an the walk down to town was lovely, a little Cliffe tram is available if your not up for the walk down or back up. Parking out front or on the side street is freely available.we all loved each apartment and would definitely return.also great that each apartment can be rented out independently of the others is good there is keypad security to each apartment for this reason.

“We loved our stay at the apartment but were a bit surprised to find that it was on the top floor as it’s advertised as being on the first floor and I found this difficult as I have mobility issues.”

That aside, it was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely book again but it would have to be apartment 1 or 2 next time. Thankyou.

“Nice place but 2 issues, the heating in the room needs another radiator as it’s a cold studio flat with just 1 radiator, the other is the shower it’s luke warm at best & combined with the studio flat being cold makes it even worse, no instructions on how to keep heating on or how to up the water temperature….”

Even the tap on the sink is like warm , had to boil kettle to wash pots correctly If these items was sorted it would be perfect

Thanks for your feedback - we are pleased you had a pleasant stay. Our showers are temperature limited for safety reasons, however the water should be plenty hot enough - we will look into it. The kitchen is fully equipped with kettle, toaster, induction hob, oven and fridge freezer... everything you need to prepare a meal or drink and all of this in a studio apartment - we literally cannot fit anything else in. “It is a lovely very cosy place.”

Cleanenes spotles, I would recommend. Sea side not far. Either you walk or get on tram. Pet friendly, you don't need to pay for your pet. Shops&takeaways close to you. First time in scarbrough and loved it. Specially beatiful gardens and buildings. Will go back next year again.

“We had a lovely stay .”

The bed and bedding were extremely comfy. All the little extras were very thoughtfull .I relise that we were one of the 1st to stay in the newly renovated property, but it was immaculate. Lovely place in a lovely area of Scarborough... Would definitely stay again. Thank you. Ps not a complaint.... but the boiler kept tripping its fuse .. but when I rang for help I was reassured!
