We have stayed at South House Farm a few times now and always have the most wonderful, relaxing, fun time as a family.

The views from the cottage are just stunning - we would start the day wrapped in blankets, at the garden table with a coffee to watch the sun rise and end it watching the moon rise above the sea and trees. The cottage has been refurbished since we last stayed and we appreciated the additional light and space this has brought to the house. It's a great base for walks and visits around the area. We are already talking about when we can book our next stay!

Absolutely pristine, extremely comfy, with great facilities.

The only downside are the very steep steps to the downstairs wc which isn't great in the middle of the night, but this was in the description Fabulous location to coastal walks, & within easy reach to wonderful eateries. Thank you.

Lovely, comfortable cottage in a beautiful, peaceful location, with stunning views towards Ravenscar.

Short walk to Boggle Hole and Robin Hood's Bay, and convenient drive to Whitby. Youth Hostel next to the beach is great for pub food and a charming atmosphere. The cottage stairs are steep and narrow, which might be an issue for someone with mobility issues (but there are plenty of handholds), otherwise we couldn't fault it. EV charging at a good price was an added bonus.
