    “Excellent property, very clean and comfortable, lovely position and a nice bedroom and living room, only way I would improve it , put a new carpet in hallway, once past that one of the best places I have stayed, I am a frequent traveller.”

The property

Situated in Whitby, on the coast of North Yorkshire, is this delightful second-floor apartment.

The property retains some of its original features such as the high ceilings, but has been tastefully decorated to provide a warm and contemporary base for couples seeking a coastal break to this popular seaside town.

Enter into the spacious sitting room, benefitting from views across towards Whitby Abbey and the harbour; curl up on the provided seating and unwind into the evening.

Resting adjacent is a modern kitchen which houses all the necessary appliances for a week-long break.

The property has a double bedroom which has plenty of furniture for storing your personal items and bedside tables and lamps for some late night reading.

Walk through to the en-suite bathroom so you can take a bath with shower over to prepare for your day.

Wihtby is an excellent base for touring the very best of North Yorkshire's coast.

Make sure you visit the magnificent historic Whitby Abbey, said to have been the inspiration for Bram Stoker's Dracula, whilst the 199 steps challenges even the athletic to reach the top without stopping!

Sport enthusiasts will delight in Whitby Golf Club with courses to suit all ages and skills, whilst Whitby Beach is ideal for a lazy afternoon on the golden sands.

For a spot of history Captain Cook Museum details the historical voyages Cook visited.

Further afield, the North York Moors National Park gives access to a large number of country sites for long walks and cycling opportunities.
