Absolutely beautiful property with stunning views of the abbey.

The bed was comfortable, shower was very good and the flat was easy to cool down in the hot temperatures. Great location for walking into the centre of Whitby - pub, cafe and bakery all within five mins walk.

Perfect property for 2 people spacious room/bedroom & lovely comfy bed which is a must & the parking permit is a must .

. we have booked again for September ☺️

We liked the appartement only we were surprised there were stairs down to the bathroom and toilet.

You don’t expect that in an appartement. If we had known that we probably wouldn’t have chosen this appartement. The location of the appartement was great: beach and town were very close.

It has everything you need for a comfortable stay with clear instructions.

There is lots of information about the area and a few books to read too. Would definitely book this flat again.

Lovely accommodation, everything you need, comfortable and clean.

Location very good for the town, harbour and seafront. Fantastic view of the abbey and church from the living room. If there is a downside, it’s the parking, but that’s down to the local council.

Needs light at front door to read keypad is only criticism.

Excellent beautifully furnished apartment that is very clean and well maintained.

The kitchen is well stocked with everything that you would need for your stay and the power shower was a lovely added bonus. The bed is large and comfortable so we slept very well. The location is ideal being close to the seafront and also the plethora of fish and chip shops. A great place to stay.

It's in a perfect location to explore Whitby. We stayed for a week. The Owners contacted us to say we could go in a day earlier at no extra charge, which was nice. Unfortunately we couldn't make it but we managed to have access to the property earlier on the day . The place is lovely, it's spotlessly clean. Everything you need is there. Nice touch having milk, biscuits and wine on arrival. WiFi is excellent and having to work during the day was made so much easier with this Overall this is a place we will return to in the future. The owners are in contact and very approachable should there be any issues. Excellent place to stay and see Whitby

Our stay at Abbey Vista was perfect.

We came with our little girl during the horrible storm so we stayed in abbey vista most of the time and thank god this is the apartment we booked!! Lovely and clean, you literally have everything you need. We had a slight problem with the electric cutting off because of the storm getting an outside light but Stuart came straight away fixed to problem and we was back into a nice warm apartment. Nice little touch giving you a bottle of wine, biscuits and even milk to get you started. Would 100% recommend and we even managed to get engaged during our stay at Abbey Vista so definitely a trip to remember and not just because of the 90mph wind!! Thank you to both owners who really do think about their guests. I never ever do reviews but this one needed one so hopefully see you again soon!

A lovely flat, which is perfect for a couple.

Beautifully maintained and clean. Location is ideal for exploring Whitby and the parking permit is a welcome addition. We would definitely stay there again.

Arrived late afternoon after some bad weather.

We were experiencing difficulties with a leak and the electrics in the property. After calling Sharon and Stuart (owners) we were offered another property the very next day. Great communication with Sharon and Stuart. The property we were provided was a lovely upgrade and we were offered a few extra days stay free of charge. We were also given the option to go home if we weren’t satisfied with a full refund. Could not have asked for better hosts. Thanks guys

Lovely flat clean & decor nice felt really at home .

All the extras wine, biscuits & milk which is really nice thing to do. Good location to enjoy what whitby has to offer.We really enjoyed our stay. We met the owners who where a lovely couple.

The apartment was lovely but the bathroom let it down.

There was a large cabinet which obstructed the sink. A mirror and just a shelf would be more sufficient . Mouldy shower seal. Free standing shelve unit was very rusty. Hooks needed for bath robes. When I took the sheets off the bed, the protective bed covers were heavily stained . This could have been down to the cleaner having to rush because the previous guests didn’t check out until 3pm. If these small things were rectified it would definitely be a 10/10.

This is a lovely spacious apartment that is in a good location.

Although the entrance hall to the building looks a little tired, the apartment itself is well fitted, comfortable, well-equipped and nicely decorated. We had a problem with the boiler during our stay which was quickly dealt with by the owner. We enjoyed the vue of Whitby Abbey from the living room window.

We had a brilliant week away with our dog, Walter.

The property was spotlessly clean and the tea, biscuits and wine were a nice touch. Being a bit of a pair of technophobes we couldn't work the hob out, but Stuart and Sharon came and explained it to us, they were great. The property is excellently located a couple of minutes away from the beach and town centre we will definitely be back. Many thanks.

We’ve had an absolutely fantastic time at Abbey Vista - 10/10 to the owners Stuart and Sharon who were so friendly, helpful and kind.

The apartment is immaculate, super clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. There’s every appliance and utensil you will ever need in the kitchen and the dishwasher was an added bonus. You can see the Abbey from the lounge and you are only 5 minutes to the Whale Bone and down into Whitby Harbour. The car parking pass to the car park a short walk away was an added bonus plus the wine and local biscuits on arrival. Finally our little doggy enjoyed his holiday too and we can’t wait to return, it was just what we needed THANKYOU.

We had a lovely week at Abbey Vista it was clean and comfortable and very well equipped.

We parked our car in the nearby West Cliff car park with the parking permit supplied and we were able to charge the car at the chargers in the car park which was good too. The welcome pack was very much appreciated thanks.

Lovely apartment clean and every utensil available but found it dark in the lounge with the big curtains.

The bed was also very soft , however, aware some people like soft beds .. just not us.

It's one of the best we have stayed in , spotless , excellent decoration and finishing , the location was ideal for town , just a minute from shops ! Parking was so easy ! We loved it that much we have booked again for next year ! 10 out of 10 from us!

Everything at Abbey Vista was beautiful.

Nicely decorated with all the home comforts you’d expect. The view of the Abbey was lovely to see whilst eating breakfast, from the bay window. Great central location to explore the wonders of Whitby. Milk, biscuits and red wine were thoughtfully left out for us by the owners. We shall definitely be returning! Thank you.

A beautiful apartment in a really convenient location.

The apartment is spacious and tastefully decorated throughout with everything provided for a holiday stay. A welcome gift of wine and biscuits was left for us which was very thoughtful. And milk provided was great but after 5 hours of travelling a couple of tea bags would have been very much appreciated - neither of us drink coffee. The furnishings in the house are beautiful and create a relaxing environment after a day of walking the bed and sofa are very comfortable. My only critique and it is small would be the shower as it’s near impossible to get a consistent temperature, two days were perfect but the others were either freezing cold or it would literally melt your skin and I set it the same each time. The shower unit dripped and also had a leak which sprayed out the bottom so I’m not sure if that caused the problem. I used the bath instead which is fine but I do prefer to shower due to having had spinal surgery. Overall we had an amazing week and we would definitely book to stay here again.

Great location with beautiful views, few minutes walk into main streets. Apartment was clean, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. A great location!

All the facilities for morning paper, groceries and coffee shops and eating out, in easy walking distance. I intended booking for the same week next year on my return home, but unfortunately someone had beat me to it. The only improvement I could recommend is, it’s ready for a lick of paint here and there.

Abbey Vista is a beautiful apartment in a perfect location for the town centre and beach.

It’s a real bonus to have a free parking disk for a car park which is very close by. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

A superb property right in the heart of Whitby in a good area, the furnishings were to a very high standard with a well equipped kitchen, we would certainly return again.

We booked 5 nights with 1 pet, Sharon was very accommodating from the onset.

Place was spotlessly clean when we arrived, very welcoming bottle of wine and wife loved the shortcake complimentary biscuits. Spacious and very comfortable, everything we needed, decor was excellent..plus for me was the parking permits which was a 3hr windows outside the property and also the long stay for the break Will definitely be back

The apartment was as described with a lovely view of the Abbey.

However, I disagree with several reviews where previous guests have described it as being fully equipped. For example, there was no rubber non slip bath mat provided for showering purposes. An item essential to prevent slipping. There were also no instructions on how to operate the heated towel rail in the bathroom.

The apartment is an absolute haven, from the minute we stepped through the door.

Beautifully decorated and luxurious furniture. So spacious and in a wonderful position to watch the world go by and the changing views of the Abbey.

We had a wonderful stay at Abbey Vista.

The apartment is spacious, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location is perfect, a few minutes from the whalebone arch and Captain Cook monument. It was an ideal base to explore Whitby and the surrounding area. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it and hope to return one day.

Handy for beach and town.

We were very happy with the flat, it had everything we needed and was very comfortable and warm.

Stuart was very helpful and it was nice to know that we could contact him if we had any problems (which we didn't).

The apartment was ideally situated in Whitby, with close access to both the town and the seafront.

It was spotlessly clean and with parking only 2 minutes walk away we were able to unload and load up again quite easily. We would certainly recommend this property to anyone wanting a break in this part of the world.

Loved it, great weekend break close to all amenities, although it was 2nd floor, no problems with the dogs, would definitely recommend, Stuart was really helpful and friendly.

Location facilities. We had an amazing stay. Short walk to everything we needed. Made a wonderful Xmas dinner for two. And had all the cooking equipment I needed. Daisy our new puppy loved her stay. Amazing walks. We wanted to stay longer but sadly there was no availability. We will 100% be back soon. Thankyou.

Very pleased with this flat it was clean, lovely decorated, good quality items in kitchen.

Bed linen and towels lovely, bathroom clean and great shower with plenty hot water. Heating very easy to use. Car park very near and the parking pass was great. Would highly recommend and will be back ..thank you

The apartment was covered in dog hairs and dog smells.

Did not use the main oven as it was filthy. Bits of food under sofa cushions. Empty bottle found under the sofa. We spent one and a half hours cleaning the place, we did not call the caretaker as our standards are obviously higher than his. We feel sorry for the owners of the property as the quality of furnishings and equipment in the flat are excellent.

The Landlord was very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.

He contacted me on the day of arrival to let us know the apartment was ready for us at 12 o’clock and not 4 o’clock. Ideal location, 5 minute walk to beach or the harbour/ town centre. Very comfy bed and nice lounge area with lovely views of the Abbey. Will definitely be using it again.

Ideal location.

Car park is a stones throw away. You are short walk onto west cliffe and short walk into town. Very clean and tidy. A pint of milk along with tea etc on arrival was very welcome. Definitely recommend.

Abbey Vista delivered above my expectations as the apartment was very well equipped and extremely clean and tidy.

The only downside was their was no where within the immediate facility to let the dogs do their business, you need to walk them to the seafront, which is a couple of mins walk. Not ideal at 3am. Other than this little annoying thing, we’re definitely be back.

Everything was top class, the apartment was warm and comfortable. We dined in several times and the kitchen was equipped with everything needed. Lovely spacious apartment close to the center of Whitby, decorated very tastefully and very comfortable.

Communications regarding access were timely, which made access to the flat very easy.

There were a box of chocolates, a bottle of wine and a parking pass for us upon arrival. The flat is very clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed. The kitchen is well equipped including a counter top dishwasher and washing machine. The flat is well located, being close to the sea front and the town centre but also nice and quiet. Overall, a good place to stay in Whitby.

Similar to another recent guest at this property, we struggled to cope with the cooker/hob due to a lack of instructions on how to use it.

We did manage to work out how to get hot water, but again instruction would be ideal. Apart from that, we found this apartment to be very comfortable, fitted carpets throughout, very spacious and relaxing lounge, fully equipped kitchen. The location to the town and sea front is superb, together with the car parking arrangements. We would certainly consider staying here again, also recommend this property to friends.

One very small point, it would be useful to have some instructions for appliances, and switches labelled.

Firstly, we were very pleasantly surprised by the chocolates and wine and some milk in the fridge too.

The flat was in a perfect location, it was lovely and spacious.
