The property

This classic fisherman's cottage, Storm Cottage, is hidden in the North Yorkshire seaside resort of Whitby.

Storm Cottage is a terrific home base for couples, families, or friends to enjoy a coastal break because of its fantastic location inside the North York Moors National Park and close proximity to the sandy paths of the beach.

As you ascend the steps to your new home, take in the lovely redbrick work that sets it apart from other homes on the street.

Once inside, find the well-equipped country style kitchen, which has everything you need for a self-catered stay.

Savour mealtimes at the dining table for seven or in the private garden area.

Watch your favorite shows on the Smart TV after dinner while you unwind on the soft sofa.

Continue to the ground-floor bathroom to relax in the tub before retiring to one of the three generously sized bedrooms, which are either two doubles or a triple room on the lower ground level.

The top double bedroom has great views of the abbey and the sea When you're ready to explore , wander into town where you'll find several eateries, bars, and shops as well as a stunning beach where you can spend the day swimming, surfing, or paddleboarding.

Continue to Robin Hood's Bay and take in the National Trust site of The Old Coastguard Station, the Whitby Museum's immersion in local history, or a visit to Whitby Abbey's grounds.

Spend the day in Pickering, where you can visit Pickering Castle and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, or visit the Sea Life Centre in Scarborough, which has award-winning sandy beaches, breathtaking coastlines, and a wide range of family attractions, to get up close and personal with marine life.

Please be aware this is a very quirky old cottage, due to the quirkiness of the cottage, it is not suitable for people who have mobility issues- due to steep steps up to the property and steep steps inside
