    “This is our second time staying at Abbey View apartment and hopefully won’t be our last!”

    The apartment is comfy and the kitchen well equipped. But the view of the abbey is the jewel in the crown - a morning cuppa or an evening glass of wine on the sofa enjoying the view…..beautiful! Having a secure parking spot is perfect for us and the location again, for us is spot on. We have children so being near Pannett Park and the West Cliff attractions is handy and it’s only a short stroll into town either down the hill, through the park or across west cliff towards the whale ...

We have children so being near Pannett Park and the West Cliff attractions is handy and it’s only a short stroll into town either down the hill, through the park or across west cliff towards the whale bones. The only point of note is there is just the one bathroom - for us, as a family, this isn’t a problem but if we were going with friends, I would probably prefer someone with an en-suite too. Hopefully we will be back in the future!

There is a stylish entrance lobby with intercom and lift access on the ground floor to the third floor, which is where the apartment is located. The apartment comprises entrance hallway with open plan living and two bedrooms.

The open plan living area has a fully equipped kitchen with oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer.

A dining area which comfortably seats 4 and a sitting room with Flat screen TV/DVD/Freeview. There are also double doors offering beautiful long distance views over a Juliet balcony. There is a master bedroom with double, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with thermostatic shower over bath, wash basin and WC, Whitby Civic Society gave this development - ’Union Mill' - a prestigious 'Award for Design Excellence'.
