Chandler's View

This was a great property with a private parking space within easy walking distance of the Co-op and Whitby town centre.

It was well appointed with kitchen crockery, utensils etc. There was a dishwasher, fridge and freezer and all usual small kitchen appliances. The bedrooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. It would sleep 5 people comfortably over two levels. There are two flights of stairs. Towels are provided. It was clean throughout. There is a downstairs toilet in addition to the bathroom upstairs. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Had everything we needed for a lovely stay in Whitby. Close to all amenities, everything within a 10 minute walking distance. Short car drive to lovely places to visit, Staithes and Robin Hoods Bay.

An excellent property in an ideal location just a 5 minute walk from the railway and bus stations.

The house was very clean and owners were very accommodating. The kettle was broken and they arrived within 15 minutes with a brand new one. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable, we were there as a couple so didn’t use the other 2 rooms. The kitchen was very well equipped. Couldn’t fault anything and we would definitely book this property again.

The cottage is easy to find and parking outside the house was a bonus.

We had 2 cars and managed to park on the street without a problem. The kitchen is well equipped and it was great to be able to sit outside. Sofas and beds very comfortable with plenty of pillows. It is only a 5 min walk into the centre if Whitby and a large Coop so shopping was not a problem. This is our 2nd stay and would not hesitate to book again.

Surprisingly spacious, well equipped 3 bed property in a quiet cul-de-sac.

Was concerned about the 'steep' incline mentioned, but this was only short and very manageable. Overall a few minutes walk to the station which is predominantly flat going, so very handy for the town centre and having a parking space is a real bonus. Just one area for improvement, the stairs (in particular going to the top bedroom) are very creaky. A bit of maintenance should cure this though.

This is a great accommodation we would recommend this for couples and families we are both fit in our late 70's the only down side if your not fit and unable to walk up the hill to the property but of course you can use your car but we don't use ours when on holiday just use the bus pass as the main bus stop was only 10 minute walk away for Scarborough etc.

Being a bit picky there was no kitchen roll.

This is the second time we have stayed at Chandler’s View we stayed last June and would recommend this property to anybody that is looking to stay in Whitby the location is superb just a short walk and your in the centre of Whitby.

Excellent property which has everything you need The owner Lisa is very helpful and easy to contact if you have any concerns It’s a shame Sykes employee Kieran wasn’t the same when I had to contact him about a problem I had , he was so arrogant and unhelpful, he also said he would send me a refund which was much less than he quoted.

Lovely property, spacious and in a great position.

Easy to walk into centre of Whitby or beach. Very well equipped, clean and well maintained. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely 5 night stay at Chandler's View - once it was all sorted with help from Liz :)) A real home from home, very clean & only a short walk to all that Whitby has to offer.

The property is a fantastic size, spotlessly clean and very welcoming.

It is a nice quiet close within easy, couple of minutes walking distance to all of Whitby. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Absolutely no problems at all. Would recommend to anyone.

Loved the property and the position, but the house was so noisy and you could hear everything from the neighbours at both sides.

This did in effect spoil our holiday as it was making the dog bark as people going up and down stairs sounded like they were in our property.

This property ticked most of the boxes for us.

It is only 7 minutes walk to the town centre set in a cul-de-sac on a small hill, but really quiet. It has its own off road parking. Plenty of routes for dog walking.

The accommodation was absolutely perfect for a lovely 5 night stay in Whitby.

It had all the facilities one needs when you’re away from home. Plus, a big thank you to Liz for sorting everything out for us.

I would like to thank the owners for a lovely clean property we have had a wonderful weekend and just less than a 10min walk to Whitby town we will absolutely be back and would like to thank you.

Absolutely brilliant accommodation.

Well presented and comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped, there are extra touches to make you feel welcome. It is a great base to explore Whitby, just a short walk into the centre. The onsite parking was a huge bonus. We will definitely recommend to others and we hope to return to Chandlers View!

We have stayed at this property on several occasions.

It is always very clean and welcoming and perfectly placed just 5 minutes walk to the town centre. The private drive is a big bonus and we will definitely stay again. If there was one slight drawback it is the rigid 4pm access time. Of course, I understand it is necessary to state an access time. However, with other properties we have booked, we have often received a text message from the owner advising us as soon as the property is ready, which I believe is a very nice touch. Other than that, everything was excellent. Thank you.
