“A modern, bright, spacious and comfortable 2nd floor apartment that has been tastefully decorated, is well maintained and includes a dedicated car parking space adjacent to the apartment block entrance.”

Upon arrival we were delighted to find that a bottle of milk had been provided for us with tea and coffee so we could enjoy a refreshing cuppa after our journey. Upon arrival we were delighted to find that a bottle of milk had been provided for us with tea and coffee so we could enjoy a refreshing cuppa after our journey. A very thoughtful and most welcoming touch. Whitby station in the town’s harbour square is a one mile (predominantly downhill) stroll away, with Pannett Park and the truly delightful Whitby Museum providing a wealth of local historical records, artefacts and information enroute. The quaint shops, restaurants and pubs of Whitby, particularly in the Old Town with cobbled streets leading up to Whitby Abbey (English Heritage), St Mary’s Church and the Whitby Brewery, present an endearing, historical charm that takes us back to Whitby year after year. But Valley View is also an ideal venue as it provides a central location from which to explore the numerous popular North Yorkshire visitor attractions including the North Yorkshire Moors, the NYM Railway, Robin Hood’s Bay, Ravenscar, Scarborough, Sandsend, Staithes, Runswick Bay, Pickering, Ruswarp Pleasure Boats, Eden Camp, the City of York (Park & Ride recommended), etc.
