The property

Nestled in the seaside town of Whitby, on the coast of North Yorkshire, is this wonderful 1920s cottage.

This fully renovated three-storey cottage is just as suitable for friends as it is for families, with its superb layout is ideal and its central positioning gives you and your loved one’s access to some excellent amenities and attractions.

Finished to a high end modern finish this property is a beautiful get away at anytime of year.

Use the convenient entrance hall where you can hang your coats and drop off your muddy boots, then walk through to the hallway with its stained glass entrance in keeping with the period.

Just off the hallway is the spacious sitting room where you can relax and unwinding on the plush sofas with the feature electric fire to keep you warm during those chillier evenings, whilst you catch up with your favourite shows creating memories with the family.

Gather in the dining room for a family meal over a well-deserved glass of wine, with the gas fire adding to the homely ambience perfect for any occasion to get together.

Walk through to the kitchen, with its muted green units and sleek worktops with a lovely blue tiled design, housing a range of brand new appliances so you can cook up a delicious meal for everyone in a double electric oven and 5 ring gas hob in a mix of contemporary and classical style.

The property houses four stylish bedrooms, comprising of two kingsize beds, one super-king and one twin on the second floor with each room housing matching double wardrobes, dressing tables and floors length mirrors, perfect for some late night reading and relaxing, or getting ready for a night out.

Two of the bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms, there is a further shower room, and a family bathroom if you fancy a long soak in the tub at the end of a tiring day exploring this beautiful part of the world.

Use of the enclosed patio courtyard to soak up the sun during those summer months in the suntrap patio with the BBQ provided perfect for a relaxed dining experience.

Whitby gives great access to a number of local tourist sites, including the famous ruined Whitby Abbey, said to have been the inspiration for Dracula, and was once the home of the first known English poet, boasting a wealth of history inside.

With many attractions on during the whole of summer including the blues festival, jazz weekend, goth weekend to name but a few have Whitby packed out all year round with their full programme of event.

Visit the wonderful Pannett Park where you can spend your day exploring the themed gardens with your furry companion by your side.

Also nearby is the 199 steps, which will challenge even the sportier types to try and reach the top before tiring!

Whitby rests just outside of the North York Moors National Park and hosts a plethora of countryside sites, and nature reserves for those long country walks.
