The moment you enter the accommodation you know you have made the right choice, with it’s modern and tasteful decor, comfortably equipped lounge and bedrooms and probably one of the best equipped kitchen’s experienced in rental properties.

The apartment was exceptionally clean throughout and met all our creature comforts. Being a short and interesting walk into Whitby completes the total attraction of this property and our family group will certainly use it on future visits to the Whitby area.

We had a wonderful stay and it's a beautiful apartment.

I would definitely consider coming back to this apartment if I was visiting Whitby. There were a couple of negatives the settee whilst looking lovely is the most uncomfortable settee I have sat on, the double bed while I found it ok my husband was very uncomfortable in it it was too soft on his side. Also there was not enough knives forks and spoons ( yes we checked the dishwasher ) luckily we only had breakfast in the apartment but if we had had made a meal we would have had to purchase cutlery.

A real treat of a place.

It’s clean, quiet and secure. Fully appointed. All mod cons. A basket of Whitby produce was left as a surprise…thank you. An added bonus was the steam train left Whitby station at 10am and came along the river bank opposite the apartment. Would recommend this apartment

Lovely apartment, clean, comfortable, well presented and well thought out, a real home from home, it is in a great location and the parking space outside is very handy.

We were two couples, so single beds that could be zipped together to make a double might be a consideration for the future? It was a nice touch to have milk in the fridge, cookies, treacle parkin, tea and coffee, a fabulous welcome, thank you. We love Whitby and hope to stay at Whitby Waves again soon.

Lovely apartment.

Clean and comfortable with everything we could need. Ideal location for getting into Whitby and surrounding areas. Quite location. It was lovely to look out over the river and watch the birds. Car parking space was a bonus. Our only negative was how low the settee is. We appreciate this issue is personal to us due to health/mobility concerns.

An excellent flat overlooking the river.

It is cosy and very well maintained. It is thoughtfully equipped with many attractive individual features. The location is ideal with a comfortable walk into Whitby. We have stayed in many different types of accommodation and this is certainly one of the best.

An absolutely fantastic apartment.

Perfect location with a designated parking space. The apartment is furnished to a very high standard with everything that people could possibly need. We stayed over Christmas and New Year and the apartment was decorated for Christmas, which was a lovely touch. The very thoughtful welcome basket full of treats was an additional bonus. The only thing we could fault was the sofa, it was very low and uncomfortable. All local amenities are within a 10 / 15 minute walk, plenty of places to eat and drink.

This was a return visit.

We have stayed previously with two grandchildren who loved the twin room with its wave pattern wallpaper. The location is great with parking, a big plus in Whitby, and an easy walk into town. As a couple we appreciated the river views, close proximity to restaurants especially Costa Nostra and Mr Chips. The apartment was extremely clean and comfortable with the added bonus of a Xmas tree and Wecome hamper. There are lots of nearby places to visit. Download The Whitby Guide for lots of information. Another brilliant property from Sykes.

Lovely well appointed apartment only a 15 minute walk from town with a safe parking spot. Very comfortable with all that was needed, beautifully decorated including a Christmas tree, we'll certainly be back.

Very nice property well maintained sofa was a little low for someone like us.

We are the older generation couldn't get of the sofa. We had to purchase some forks as the was only two. But overall everything was good Netflix+ Amazon prime was a great bonus,beds very comfortable.

From the moment we arrived, we knew that we would be enjoying our holiday.

The parking space provided was extra wide which helped me as I have a blue badge. On entering Whitby Waves we knew that it was ideal for our type of holiday. With views over the river Esk, the ground floor apartment was perfect for us, particularly as I struggle with stairs. The whole place was very well appointed, the beds were very comfortable. Having never had induction hobs, this was a learning curve but easily sorted. The apartment was well laid out and well appointed in every way. The welcome goodies were a pleasant surprise. Whitby town centre was easily in reach only less than a mile away. I think, with Whitby Waves, we have found the place that we will most certainly come back to again, hopefully in the near future.

This was my second visit to Whitby Waves and I’m sure it won’t be my last.

It is so cosy and homely and lovely to come back to after a long day. The apartment is beautifully decorated and so well equipped, it really is a home from home, the owners have thought of everything to make it as comfortable as possible. Parking is brilliant, designated spot right outside which couldn’t be any better situated and it is a short walk into town so you don’t have to worry about parking etc each day. Thank you for a lovely stay and I’m sure we will be back soon!

Whitby Waves is a beautiful modern apartment - with lovely views overlooking the sea and boat yard.

It’s a very comfortable place and fully equipped with everything you need. In the perfect location to walk into the town with no hills!!

Very convenient for town without having a hill to climb ,the designated parking is a real bonus for whitby.

watching the tide ebb and flow and the trains entering the station kept us amused. The apparent was beautifully furnished and decorated,still not sure about the sofa though!

Our fourth stay at Whitby Waves. It ticks all the boxes. Short stroll into Whitby town centre. Lovely clean and modern apartment, very quiet, no noise from neighbours and free parking. Perfect.

Lovely apartment, great parking space, very well equipped, nicely decorated and modern, with a lovely welcome pack, that you don’t always get these days.

We have stayed in Whitehall Landings 4 times now, and this has been the best apartment yet for us, we settled in very quickly. Instructions for departure were very simple and easy to follow.

On the whole a very good stay however the sofa is very low for older guest not at all suitable another armchair would be helpful.

The saucepans are large if boiling a couple of eggs a milk pan would be useful. The two toilet rolls were so small and thin they lasted two days surely there should be sufficient for the stay we have not had to purchase these on previous stays elsewhere

Lovely apartment in a great location with parking right outside.

Well thought out, comfy beds, lots of space, well equipped kitchen and everything needed for a family. The owner responded promptly and was friendly when we contacted them. Only downside really was that there were some issues with the cleaning for our stay, which did spoil it a bit.

Loved our stay here.

Nothing to fault. Parking was easy and the decor was really nice. The view from the window was great. It's an easy flat walk to the centre or old town.

I am ambulatory disabled and we chose this flat because it is very accessible.

We brought a few stick on grab bars so I could use the shower easily. The flat is spotlessly clean and the decor is modern. The artwork added to our enjoyment as did the view of the river. It's a lovely quiet location. We actually slept in the twin room because it was larger and easier for me on my walker. The only downside is the sofa, which I was unable to sit on because it was too low and too soft for me to get up easily. The spare chair in the bedroom was also very low. The other chair was perfect for me but I was unable to see the TV from there. We loved the flat and would recommend it.

Fantastic apartment and a real home from home, beautifully decorated and equipped with anything you could ever need, it was perfect for us.

The location is fantastic and has lovely views over the water and railway. Getting into town is a short walk and runs alongside the harbour and parking was immediately outside the apartment too. Will certainly be booking again!

Had a lovely break in this beautiful apartment despite the weather only complaint is the seating in living room too low and not the most comfortable to sit on

It is a beautiful apartment with everything you need for your stay such good attention to detail down to the lovely décor all the way through it is in a great location and such a quiet area too we loved every minute staying there we will definitely be returning as we only touched the surface of Whitby

It was a perfect location for walking into Whitby and had a great view of the river. The parking outside was great too. We really enjoyed our stay at Whitby Waves and would stay again.

Great holiday apartment, would highly recommend.

Excellent location for walking into town or up to the Abbey/Brewery, or cycling along the cinder path. Off street, allocated parking and lovely views onto the harbour. The accommodation was very thoughtfully equipped and the lovely decor made it feel like a modern hotel suite! Loads of lovely touches including games for the family and streaming channels on the TV for the odd evening when the delights of Whitby get too exhausting!

We loved Whitby Waves.

Beautiful little extra touches, art and accessories. Very comfortable and clean, lovely kitchen with everything you need for your stay. Great having the parking making it easy to get off and explore the Yorkshire coast, knowing you can park at ease when you return from a day exploring. Nice walk into the centre of Whitby and in a peaceful spot. Very quite

It was definitely a wow moment when we walked into the apartment.

It was immaculate and so well designed. There was plenty of storage and a real feel of home. The view was fantastic and just a ten minute walk into town. The car parking space directly outside was an added bonus. We will definitely be returning.

The property is in a good location with parking being a bonus.

We were comfortable and warm. The accommodation is lovely with everything you need for a break. I would recommend it and hope to return in the near future. The information book was exactly that full of all the relevant information need.

Otherwise, a great place to stay, wonderful location. We watched a kingfisher from the sitting room, whilst we had a cuppa.

We’ll stocked with everything you could want. If I was to find fault it would be that the sofa was a little uncomfortable but with all the attractions of Whitby I wasn’t sat on it much

The accommodation was excellent - very well appointed and very clean.

The only reason I didn't give the 'comfort' section top rating was because I did find the sofa uncomfortable.

A great place to stay - we specifically chose it because we were taking my elderly father with us, and his mobility is limited, so having a ground floor apartment with a walk in shower was perfect.

He also enjoyed watching the steam trains go by as there was a good view of the trainline from the apartment. The use of Netflix and Disney+ was also much appreciated. Would definitely book again!
