Stunning place.

... Beautiful interior with very comfy beds. Looked the bar stools in kitchen. Nice size garden Came away very relaxed Right on doorstep of town centre which has plenty of shops, bars and eateries.

Super clean, well equipped, very comfortable. Superb centre for traveling to nearby sites, including York and Castle Howard.

We loved it all.

Warm, cosy, well equipped, clean, lovely garden for Ziggy. We enjoyed the local pubs having a pint there most afternoons. We generally ate at home in the evening and the well equipped kitchen was fantastic. We happily recommend Thorncliffe House. A great location for walking, and trips to the coast and York. For owner awareness I would add that the front ensuite shower tap is very very stiff and the hard floors downstairs would benefit from a wet clean.

This is a well presented cottage within a few minutes walk of a delightful small town.

The cottage is spacious, clean and well equipped, has comfortable beds and was just right for the 5 of us. Pocklington has everything you need, butchers, bakers etc. The Market Tap is a good pub selling cask ale and it’s worth checking out what is on at the arts centre. Can also recommend a visit to Burnby Hall gardens which is within walking distance. Buses run regularly to York. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Fantastic location and a beautiful house furnished to a high standard.

Lots of space for 6 people and a dog with attention to detail to the smaller things needed for a family stay. The beds are extremely comfy for a good night's sleep and the dining kitchen is beautiful looking out onto the garden. The family dog wouldn't come in she loved it so much. The owners were great communicators and we can't wait to return.

Everything was as described. Clean, modern and homely. Great location. Loved the welcome pack as did our 2 westies! Would def recommend.

We were a group of friends staying at this property whilst visiting friends living in the town.

The house was immaculately presented with furniture and fittings being all top class. The garden was lovely. Would recommend a stay here with so many places to see in the area.
