We were delightfully happy on arriving and entering wren's nest.
It was exactly what we were expecting and hoping for. Clean, comfortable and cosy for the two of us to stay in. The views and surrounding areas are beautiful. It was a wonderful calm, quiet and tranquill stay. The whole process from booking, arrival and departing was simply smooth and easy. I received a lovely email the day before travelling providing very detailed directions which made finding the property so easy, such a lovely thoughtful idea.
From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome, including our beloved fur baby. Emma and family are an absolute delight. The property is so cozy, lovely layout, very well decorated and very clean. We also had some lovely welcome gifts - thank you. The views over the Esk Valley are breathtaking. A perfect location for peaceful getaway whilst still being close to the East Coast - Whitby approx 11 miles away and the stunning North Yorkshire Moors attractions, such as Goathland (Heartbeat - Aidensfield) We absolutely will be making a return visit soon. Highly recommended
Emma and Steven were fantastic hosts.
The cottage is set up to accommodate everything you need, with a lovely homely feel. The views are incredible to wake up to and if you like walking, at the end of the drive you are straight onto the moor for a fantastic walk that was alive with different wildlife. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. It really was such a beautiful place to stay.
