The property

Acacia Waterside Spa is a stylish lodge nestled in the tranquil countryside on Woodland Lakes Holiday Park near Thirsk, Yorkshire.

With an on-site car park that includes EV charging and a layout designed for families and friends, it’s a well-placed base for exploring the surrounding area.

Step inside and you’ll find a single-storey space that flows effortlessly from one area to the next.

The open-plan living room invites you to settle in front of the Smart TV, with USB ports ready for your own entertainment setup.

Nearby, the kitchen is thoughtfully arranged for easy cooking, featuring a five-burner gas hob with wok ring, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, kettle, and toaster.

Meals can be enjoyed at the dining table, where conversation and laughter come naturally.

Two bedrooms, one double and one twin, offer a calm retreat at the end of the day.

The main bathroom includes a bath with a shower over, basin and WC, while a separate shower room with a walk-in enclosure, basin and WC ensures there’s plenty of space for everyone to get ready.

THIRSK

Northallerton 8.6 miles; North York Moors National Park 5 miles; York 23.7 miles.

With the gateway to the North York Moors National Park to the east and Yorkshire Dales National Park to the west, the bustling town of Thirsk boasts a quaint market place, splendid Georgian buildings, and a Norman church. Here there are a selection of excellent pubs, restaurants, a cinema and a leisure centre, as well as independent stores to be browsed at your leisure. Visit the World of James Herriott Museum, dedicated to the life and works of the town’s own famous vet and author or explore the surrounding rolling countryside and Hambleton Hills, offering excellent walking and cycling opportunities. The town is home to the Yorkshire Vet, All Creatures Great and Small, and Thirsk Races, and there are an abundance of local walks throughout the local area, including those at Osmotherly, the Cleveland Way, and Sutton Bank. Cycling within this location is catered for with mountain biking trails and road cycling trails at Sutton Bank's Cycling Centre, Dalby Forest, and Tour de France routes, and there are further walks and cycling routes along the picturesque coast of North Yorkshire, as well as delightful locations including Whitby, Robin Hood Bay, and Staithes.
