Beech Waterside Spa is a stylish, timber-clad lodge set beside the water in the quiet countryside on Woodland Lakes Holiday Park near Thirsk, Yorkshire.

With an on-site car park that includes EV charging, this single-storey retreat provides a practical base for families or groups of friends looking to spend time together in a peaceful setting.

Step inside and the gentle hush of nature follows you through the door.

Four bedrooms await, two with king-size beds and two with twins, each offering a space to pause and recharge after a day spent exploring the surrounding landscape.

The family bathroom includes a bath with shower over, basin, and WC, with a washing machine tucked away for any laundry needs.

A second shower room adds convenience, featuring a walk-in shower, basin, and WC.

At the heart of the lodge, the open-plan living area invites shared moments.

The electric fire casts a soft glow across the sitting room, where a Smart TV with USB connections stands ready for evening viewing.

THIRSK

Northallerton 8.6 miles; North York Moors National Park 5 miles; York 23.7 miles.

With the gateway to the North York Moors National Park to the east and Yorkshire Dales National Park to the west, the bustling town of Thirsk boasts a quaint market place, splendid Georgian buildings, and a Norman church. Here there are a selection of excellent pubs, restaurants, a cinema and a leisure centre, as well as independent stores to be browsed at your leisure. Visit the World of James Herriott Museum, dedicated to the life and works of the town’s own famous vet and author or explore the surrounding rolling countryside and Hambleton Hills, offering excellent walking and cycling opportunities. The town is home to the Yorkshire Vet, All Creatures Great and Small, and Thirsk Races, and there are an abundance of local walks throughout the local area, including those at Osmotherly, the Cleveland Way, and Sutton Bank. Cycling within this location is catered for with mountain biking trails and road cycling trails at Sutton Bank's Cycling Centre, Dalby Forest, and Tour de France routes, and there are further walks and cycling routes along the picturesque coast of North Yorkshire, as well as delightful locations including Whitby, Robin Hood Bay, and Staithes.
