What guests are saying
We booked what should have been a £500 2 night break for A special offer price of £250 however this was not £250 per night accommodation.
Balcony overlooked car park, very little privacy for the hot tub (which was faulty) The spacious! kitchen had nowhere to put anything! The hob was either faulty or so difficult a degree in electrical engineering was required. It was surface clean, however the colour of the sofa’s hid lots of marks and little rips, and. was very well used and uncomfortable , the table top was also damaged. So although it was lovely it was tired and needed some TLC. Beds however were lovely and comfy. We expected to pay for on site activities, but surprised that we also had to pay for swimming because we had booked through a 3rd party. We reported the hot tub while we were there, not sure if it was looked at while we were out, but it didn’t improve. We did not report the hob until we left as with only 1 full day we wanted to relax and enjoy, not wait for a repair man. As this was mid October I think £250 would have been top end price for this accommodation for a 2 night break, but given the faults and condition it was definitely overpriced. However it was a very nice place and we would love to go back, but next time will need to do more research and get a lodge on the lake.
