Cedar Spa is a charming lodge tucked away on Woodland Lakes Holiday Park near Thirsk in Yorkshire, offering a peaceful countryside setting with the added benefit of an on-site car park and EV charging.

This single-storey retreat is ideal for families or groups of friends looking to spend time together in a rural location.

Step through the door and you’ll find two well-appointed bedrooms, each with a double bed and its own en-suite.

The first includes a walk-in shower, basin, and WC, and a hair dryer, while the second also features a walk-in shower, basin, and WC, giving everyone their own space to prepare for the day.

The open-plan living area is the heart of the lodge.

It’s a space where conversation flows easily, whether you're gathered around the dining table or preparing meals in the kitchen.

The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven, induction hob, grill, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle, and toaster, ready for everything from breakfast to evening meals.

In the sitting area, a Smart TV with USB connections entertains for quiet evenings in.

Step outside onto the enclosed decking and you’ll find outdoor furniture perfect for enjoying the fresh air.

THIRSK

Northallerton 8.6 miles; North York Moors National Park 5 miles; York 23.7 miles.

With the gateway to the North York Moors National Park to the east and Yorkshire Dales National Park to the west, the bustling town of Thirsk boasts a quaint market place, splendid Georgian buildings, and a Norman church. Here there are a selection of excellent pubs, restaurants, a cinema and a leisure centre, as well as independent stores to be browsed at your leisure. Visit the World of James Herriott Museum, dedicated to the life and works of the town’s own famous vet and author or explore the surrounding rolling countryside and Hambleton Hills, offering excellent walking and cycling opportunities. The town is home to the Yorkshire Vet, All Creatures Great and Small, and Thirsk Races, and there are an abundance of local walks throughout the local area, including those at Osmotherly, the Cleveland Way, and Sutton Bank. Cycling within this location is catered for with mountain biking trails and road cycling trails at Sutton Bank's Cycling Centre, Dalby Forest, and Tour de France routes, and there are further walks and cycling routes along the picturesque coast of North Yorkshire, as well as delightful locations including Whitby, Robin Hood Bay, and Staithes.
