Cherry Tree is a charming single-storey lodge located on Woodland Lakes Holiday Park near Thirsk, Yorkshire.

With access to an on-site car park and a private enclosed decking area, this countryside retreat is ideal for couples looking to unwind.

Inside, the open-plan living space welcomes you with a breakfast bar, dining area, and a well-equipped kitchen, complete with an oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher.

The sitting area offers a flatscreen TV for evening entertainment, while the double bedroom features its own TV and an en-suite shower room with a walk-in shower, basin, and WC.

Outside, enjoy the fresh air from the enclosed decking, furnished for outdoor dining.

The holiday park offers a variety of activities, including body zorbing, slime workshops, relaxing spa treatments, and fishing.

Northallerton 8.6 miles; North York Moors National Park 5 miles; York 23.7 miles.

With the gateway to the North York Moors National Park to the east and Yorkshire Dales National Park to the west, the bustling town of Thirsk boasts a quaint market place, splendid Georgian buildings, and a Norman church. Here there are a selection of excellent pubs, restaurants, a cinema and a leisure centre, as well as independent stores to be browsed at your leisure. Visit the World of James Herriott Museum, dedicated to the life and works of the town’s own famous vet and author or explore the surrounding rolling countryside and Hambleton Hills, offering excellent walking and cycling opportunities. The town is home to the Yorkshire Vet, All Creatures Great and Small, and Thirsk Races, and there are an abundance of local walks throughout the local area, including those at Osmotherly, the Cleveland Way, and Sutton Bank.
