Willow Waterside Spa is a stylish lodge tucked away in the peaceful countryside on Woodland Lakes Holiday Park near Thirsk, Yorkshire.

With on-site parking and EV charging, it’s a practical choice for families or groups seeking a quiet base surrounded by nature.

Step inside and you’ll find a single-storey layout that opens into a spacious living area.

Light filters through the windows, casting soft shadows across the seating space, where a Smart TV awaits with USB connections for your devices.

The open-plan design flows into a well-equipped kitchen, with everything needed to prepare meals, from oven and hob to microwave and fridge/freezer.

Mornings begin with the kettle and toaster, while evenings might end around the dining table, sharing stories and planning the next day’s adventures.

Three bedrooms offer space for all: a double with its own en-suite shower room, and two twin rooms ideal for younger guests or friends.

THIRSK

Northallerton 8.6 miles; North York Moors National Park 5 miles; York 23.7 miles.

With the gateway to the North York Moors National Park to the east and Yorkshire Dales National Park to the west, the bustling town of Thirsk boasts a quaint market place, splendid Georgian buildings, and a Norman church. Here there are a selection of excellent pubs, restaurants, a cinema and a leisure centre, as well as independent stores to be browsed at your leisure. Visit the World of James Herriott Museum, dedicated to the life and works of the town’s own famous vet and author or explore the surrounding rolling countryside and Hambleton Hills, offering excellent walking and cycling opportunities. The town is home to the Yorkshire Vet, All Creatures Great and Small, and Thirsk Races, and there are an abundance of local walks throughout the local area, including those at Osmotherly, the Cleveland Way, and Sutton Bank.
