The lounge area offers a cosy spot to unwind, complete with a Smart TV ready for an evening film after a day exploring.

Thoughtfully arranged sleeping spaces ensure everyone has room to rest.

The king‑size bedroom enjoys its own en‑suite shower room, while the second double bedroom is equally welcoming.

A family bathroom with a bath adds extra convenience, great for easing tired muscles after coastal strolls or days on the moors.

Outside, a private enclosed garden provides a lovely bonus, whether you’re enjoying a peaceful morning coffee or relaxing with a drink as the day winds down.

Whitby offers a host of delights, from its dramatic abbey overlooking the town to narrow streets filled with independent shops and the captivating Captain Cook Memorial Museum.

Hop aboard a North Yorkshire Moors Railway steam train for a scenic journey through heather‑clad hills, or head to Scarborough for clifftop castle views, seaside gardens and family‑friendly attractions.

Beyond the towns, the North York Moors National Park opens up into sweeping landscapes, tranquil trails and breathtaking viewpoints.

More than just a holiday base, One Union Mill lets you experience the very best of Whitby and the surrounding coastline entirely at your own pace.

Perfect place for exploring Whitby and surrounding area.

Good choice of eateries, and good transport for those without a car. The accommodation was a little tired and in need of a good spring clean. The crisps and biscuits were a nice touch, however, a pint of milk and some dishwash tablets would have been better appreciated. We would certainly stay again. Thank You.

The apartment was lovely, with secure parking and an easy ramp into the property from the car park.

One of of the party is ambulatory disabled and uses a walker, and from that viewpoint, this step-free property was perfect. The ramp at the front leaving the building on foot was almost flat at the left. The layout was very good, especially in the lounge/kitchen/diner. The patio garden was very pleasant and acted as a barrier between the road and the apartment, keeping noise to a minimum and protecting privacy. The shower in the ensuite was easy to access (we brought our own grab bar). One small improvement would be to have blackout curtains in both bedrooms, because of the bright streetlight outside. The location is very convenient: a short walk into town for the able bodied. There was plenty of storage in the bedrooms for clothes, and the shelf under the coffee table really helped to keep our things tidy. The apartment does not benefit from a sea view, but it's only a short distance to the front, where there are plenty of benches. The beds and sofas were very comfortable. There was a pull out washing line over the bath in the main bathroom, which was great for getting our washing dry. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to use. We had a very pleasant stay here and would recommend it to others.
