“This is not a luxury lodge.”

On arrival the floor had not been swept and no dusting had been done. We found a dirty towel rolled up on top of a wardrobe and on going to bed on the first night there were no lights working in beds 2 and 3 and the ensuite shower was scalding hot or freezing cold. On arrival the floor had not been swept and no dusting had been done. We found a dirty towel rolled up on top of a wardrobe and on going to bed on the first night there were no lights working in beds 2 and 3 and the ensuite shower was scalding hot or freezing cold. When attempted to ring the number for the site it went to voicemail at 9pm at night and before 9am. Then went to permanent engaged. Sent two emails and it wasn't until after 3pm someone called back. It took until the day before we left to sort the lights, the dodgy kitchen tap and unblock the main shower. The ensuite was never fixed and I am still waiting a response from the management team. This is NOT luxury standard by any means. The water from the kitchen sink is pouring under the lodge and not into a drain. The cooker was dirty, as was the sole oven glove. Bed linen and towels are thin and rough and there was no welcome pack. Dirty bbq left outside the main patio door...I could go on. It was not a comfortable stay.
