“We enjoyed a wonderful and incredibly peaceful stay at Sarah and Toms newly converted barn on a sunny October weekend.”

The barn is decorated beautifully, traditional with modern and quirky details that gave an already cosy location something extra special. The layout is great, with the living space upstairs and cosy bedrooms downstairs. The velux windows upstairs were incredible to gaze out of as red kites soared above us. The wildlife in this silent pocket of Shropshire was incredible, as we spilled out of the front door straight on to a woodland path which led us up into the hills following deer tracks to ...

The layout is great, with the living space upstairs and cosy bedrooms downstairs. The velux windows upstairs were incredible to gaze out of as red kites soared above us. The wildlife in this silent pocket of Shropshire was incredible, as we spilled out of the front door straight on to a woodland path which led us up into the hills following deer tracks to the sound of pheasants and distant dog barks. But we didn't need to wonder very far to see the Wallop wildlife in the form of their wonderful hens, full of character and offering the most delicious fresh eggs (thanks Tom and Sarah!). The doggies too were always interested in what we were doing, and it was lovely watching them potter around amongst the chickens and cat- one big happy family! Even though we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, we were only ever 20mins from Shrewsbury (fantastic- so much to do and see) and Welshpool (quaint Welsh market town). We visited Montogomery for an incredible anniversary meal and Ludlow which is worth a visit for foodies. The loveliest stay with the most welcoming of hosts. Can't wait to come back!
