    “We have stayed here previously, last year, and loved it, which is why we booked again.”

    Unfortunately, I will not be returning. The cookware, including glasses, was dirty and all needed washing before use. The kitchen was full of ants coming through the back door. The living room is fantastic, but the shower in the bathroom was extremely hot and you cannot change the temperature — it burns you. The bed in the master bedroom broke. You could tell it had broken previously and had been fixed temporarily, then it broke again in the same way during our stay. We phoned to report this ...

We phoned to report this and were told there was nothing they could do until the following day, so we had to sleep on the floor all night. This is not acceptable, especially when pregnant and disabled. The handyman came out the next morning and fixed it again with a piece of wood. I would not sleep on it for the rest of the holiday, as I was injured when it collapsed the first time. I would not recommend this property unless they spend a few pounds and properly fix all of these problems.

The property

Accessed through an enclosed courtyard, which has a table and chairs - ideal for enjoying breakfast - the smart accommodation comprises a sitting room with comfortable sofas, wall mounted TV and DVD and a breakfast/dining area to seat four guests with French doors leading to the courtyard. There is wifi available at the property via a router located in the main house.

Guests should be aware that the signal may be weaker in some areas of the apartment.

The galley-style kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, fridge with freezer box and washing machine/dryer. There is a double bedroom with a king size bed, bedside cupboards, a tall boy chest of drawers plus a TV.

The twin bedroom has two full size 3' single beds., bedside table and lamp, a dressing room and a closet. The bathroom has a bath and shower over, WC and hand wash basin. Note: Can be booked with Albany House, the property above, to sleep up to 13 guests.
