1. The Dog House

Dog house by name, dog house by nature. If you’re looking for of a trendy, cocktail bar vibe, you’ll love The Dog House on King Street. Here you’ll have access to an extensive list of rums, vodkas and whiskeys, all blended with exotic ingredients to brew your favourite cocktail. 

Of course, those who love a cask ale or a cider won’t go forgotten – with a wide selection including Yorkshire Heart beers.

For a spot of entertainment, you can enjoy live music every Saturday evening from 9pm. The team describe themselves as “extremely dog friendly”, so bring all your friends – tail or no tail. 


2. The Martonian Inn

One of the most welcoming dog friendly pubs near Bridlington, you’ll find the Martonian Inn just outside the seaside town. This family-run pub has been serving the Yorkshire coast since 2004, and offers a selection of craft beers, real ales and cocktails. 

All food is locally sourced, and you can bring the whole team in to watch the game on the pubs large HD TVs. There are even live performers outside in the marquee. Of course, four-legged friends are welcome to join the run at the Martonian Inn on Jewison Lane.

3. The Bull & Sun

For good old-fashioned British pub grub, you can’t go wrong with the Bull & Sun. Based on Baylegate, this traditional pub serves classics dishes such as fish and chips, as well as vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. You can also book out the function room or enjoy regular live music at this cosy eatery. 

Take pooch out into the vast beer garden to soak up the sun, or enjoy a pint on the terrace. The Bull & Sun serves a large selection of cask ales and lagers on tap, plus sophisticated cocktails. If you’re visiting over the Christmas period and enjoy a special festive menu.  


4. The Old Ship Inn

This family friendly pub on St John St is open to everybody – including the furry friends in the family! As a Cask Marque accredited pub, the Old Ship Inn offers a vast selection of beers, ciders and cask ales. And there’s a lot more on offer when it comes to entertainment. 

At this dog friendly Bridlington pub, you’ll find regular live music, bingo and quiz nights. Got a pair of lungs to show off? The pub also holds karaoke nights! Bring your friends along for a game of pool or darts, or just relax with your pup. 


5.Harbour Tavern

You’ll be guaranteed a view at the Harbour Tavern, with panoramic views of the shore in a cosy traditional pub atmosphere. Come here if you love sport, whether it’s watching a live game of football or chalking up your pool cue.

6. The Board Inn Bridlington

Nobody does a cheeseboard quite like The Board Inn. Adding a traditional pub vibe to the restaurants of Bridlington, the Board Inn offers upmarket charcuteries complemented by an extensive drinks list. Make your way through a range of cask ales at incredible prices. 

The pub is dog friendly and hosts regular seasonal events such as the Halloween Ghost Trail. There’s also live music and rooms for private hire. You’ll find this gem on the high street in the Old Town. 


7. Marine Bar Bridlington Seafront Real Ale Pub

Views for miles around don’t come any better than the Marine Bar Bridlington, one of the most luxurious dog friendly pubs in Bridlington. This seafront pub holds regular events and is within easy reach of attractions such as Sewerby Hall and Gardens. 

On the menu you’ll find locally sourced salmon, whitebait and prawns, as well as a selection of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. You can also come back for seasonal events and enjoy Christmas or other menus. With free onsite parking and stunning décor, it’s not to be missed. 


8. The Apollo

The Apollo offers a welcoming, family-friendly and dog-friendly pub in North Yorkshire. Just next door to Bridlington Spa, it holds regular themed music events from mods and rockers to covers of modern groups. 

There’s a huge range of light bites, roast dinners, all day breakfasts, and burger and drink deals. Just try to stop pooch from getting involved as you tuck into a Yorkshire classic! You’ll find The Apollo on Prince Street.

9. The New Inn

Soak up the great British sunshine at the New Inn on Prince Street. While there’s a spacious beer garden for you and your pup, there’s also a welcome indoor area serving your favourite lagers. Sports are available to watch on large screen TVs, and the drinks menu is particularly varied. 

Share a cocktail pitcher with friends or make the most of alcopop and shots deals. Great for a big night out or just a quiet one with the dog, the New Inn is ready and waiting. 


10. The Freeman Cookhouse & Pub

Right on the Bridlington seafront, you’ll find the dog friendly Freeman Cookhouse and Pub. Ideal for the family, the pub offers a vast range of Sunday roasts, vegan and vegetarian options, kids’ menus and breakfast items. 

It’s also perfect if you’re into your cocktails – one of the more spirit-heavy pubs in North Yorkshire! Don’t worry if you prefer wine or beers. There’s plenty to choose from, including low alcohol options. Bring the dog and sip on a pint of Brewdog. You deserve it!
