    “We’d been to the neighbouring property ( Winnie’s Stable ) and enjoyed it and wanted to return.”

    When we did , our party was slightly bigger and so we booked Groom’s Cottage The accommodation is clean and comfortable and well equipped. The owner is helpful and all the ingredients are in place for a pleasant and relaxing stay , in a nice part of the country . Would definitely return Thanks

The pretty town of Market Weighton is one of the main market towns in the Yorkshire Wolds and lies 20 miles from York. With many Georgian and Victorian properties, including an 18th century coaching inn, Market Weighton also holds a weekly farmers’ market. Within the town is a traditional village green with duck pond. This small town has a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. The Yorkshire Wolds Way national trail, a long distance footpath, passes through the town which is surrounded by the gently rolling chalk hills.
