    “Our second visit to The Grooms cottage and it was just as nice as the first time .”

    A beautiful, extremely clean and comfortable cottage with wonderful views in the area. Very well equipped with superb beds too . Highly recommend .

The pretty town of Market Weighton is one of the main market towns in the Yorkshire Wolds and lies 20 miles from York. With many Georgian and Victorian properties, including an 18th century coaching inn, Market Weighton also holds a weekly farmers’ market. Within the town is a traditional village green with duck pond. This small town has a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. The Yorkshire Wolds Way national trail, a long distance footpath, passes through the town which is surrounded by the gently rolling chalk hills.
