You'll find plenty to do in the coastal town of Bridlington with supermarkets to stock up on essentials, a variety of eateries ranging from Harbour View Fish And Chips to Little Sicily, and a picturesque promenade with classic amusements.
The Edwardian Bridlington Spa is a beautiful venue to catch a performance, or perhaps you'd prefer Bridlington Animal Park and East Riding Leisure Bridlington.
To escape the hustle and bustle, head further along the coast to Flamborough Headland Heritage Coast for scenic coastal walks, iconic cliffs such as The Drinking Dinosaur, and RSPB Bempton Cliffs to spot puffins from April to July; you'll even find a zoo and woodland walks at Sewerby Hall & Gardens!
Spend a day in Filey, home to Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park, sandy beaches and Filey Golf Club, whilst the resort town of Scarborough is a little further afield where Scarborough Castle, Alpamare UK water park, and seaside rides on the Scarborough North Bay Railway all await.

Lodge was clean and comfortable, has everything you need.
There is a lot of road noise on this particular part of the site, but we found it manageable. During our stay the smoke alarm became defective and had to be removed for a night which wasn't ideal - But the host did send someone to fix it the following day, so not the end of the world - maybe a secondary smoke alarm in the hallway would be handy.
We stayed in this property for 6 weeks for work purposes, and unfortunately it was one of the worst stays I have experienced.
The caravan was very cold throughout the stay. We had the heating on, and there was also an electric fire which we used occasionally to warm up, as I had a 2‑year‑old child with me. After a few days, I began receiving texts, emails and phone calls saying we were using too much electricity. We reduced our usage and only used the electric fire when absolutely necessary. I was later advised that someone would be coming out to check the carbon monoxide detectors, which I feel should have been tested before the property was rented out. I agreed to a date and time, but the person arrived two hours early and also disconnected the electric fire. As a result, we had to rely more on the heating, as the caravan never stayed warm, and I again received messages about electricity usage. I paid a significant amount for this stay, so it was disappointing to feel that we could not heat the property properly. The caravan was not clean on arrival. There were stains on the bedding, which I washed myself before we could use them. There were marks around the bath, and the kitchen utensils, plates and cups were dirty and had to be washed before use. We spent a day cleaning before we could properly begin our stay. Cleaners came once to offer fresh towels and bedding, but based on what we received originally, I declined and continued washing everything myself. I have now received an email stating that I need to pay for extra electricity, cleaning, and damage to the vinyl. We left the property cleaner than we found it. Electricity was included, and we did not cause any damage. I took photos on departure, and there was no damage visible. It was disappointing to be charged premium prices for a property that was cold on arrival and not properly cleaned.
Twin bedroom very small.
Road noise all night. Cars and motorcycles racing one another. Owner wanting the boiler servicing while we out. Plus her putting new net curtains up too. Then same day at tea time another lady came wanting to put up another curtain. Five minutes later she came to give us the vacuum cleaner back plus a fly swat. Then five minutes later collected two keys she had left. Then went about testing them in the door lock on the lodge while we were eating tea. Very unprofessional. Plus had to buy drinking water because the water in the place made scummy tea.
