This is our second time staying at Bobbies Retreat - we came for a week in December and returned for a week in June The property is spotlessly clean, well furnished and has everything you could want for some time away Set in the “old town” it’s about 20mins walk from the front - but, is an amazing place to explore the area The property is at across 3 levels with a courtyard garden - I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a renovated, modern, clean place to stay

“Glenn and Helen were on hand from the very beginning of our visit making everything clear for our arrival.”

The house has been beautifully restored with everything thought through as to what guests might need. Whole place spotlessly clean. The beds were so comfortable and bedding smelt clean and was freshly ironed. My friend loved the attic room. On leaving I left an item of clothing which was quickly returned to me, for this lm very grateful. Thankyou for your kindness. “This terraced home has been renovated to a very high standard.”

The owners have thought of everything to make your stay feel like home from home. We visited on a very cold weekend and enjoyed our evenings relaxing in front of the log fire. I would highly recommend.

The location was perfect for us and we really enjoyed wandering around the individual shops of the old town and the short drive to South Beach to walk the dog. Owners were very responsive and cared wether we had everything we needed

We had a fabulous 7 nights at Bobbies Retreat - so much so, that we’ve booked another week for next year This is a real “home away from home” and has everything you need for time away Ideally located in the “Old Town” just outside of the busyness of the resort but close enough to walk to everything you need The house was spotless with a lovely gift basket and toiletries on arrival and the host was really responsive before/ during and after This was an amazing find

“Stayed at Bobbies retreat for 4 nights and WOW, this cottage is immaculate.”

Everything is 10/10. The cottage is in a fantastic location, right in the heart of the old town with several pubs and restaurants on the doorstep. Both beaches are a short 5 minute drive, parking is also convenient. The cottage is so well equipped, from the kitchen, to the toiletries, to the smart TV. A special mention to the decor, which is beautiful, and so cosy. Will be my go to accommodation when in the area. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

“A very welcoming and comfortable cottage.”

We had a great time at Bobbies Retreat when we visited Bridlington for a family event. Everything was perfect down to the smallest of details. Also a very central location in the beautiful old town. Parking not a problem and close to lots of pubs and restaurants in the local area, would stay again without any doubt.

“Super property with everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.”

The only downside is the parking is away from the property, a quick 3 minute walk. It was not a problem for us though. It's definitely one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. And very handy for Bridlington, Scarborough, Filey and, a bit further, the scenic route to Whitby

“Loved Bobbies retreat.”

It was very clean and had everything we required. It’s a quaint homely property where we felt very relaxed and comfortable. Especially with the log burner at night. The bee theme was great fun. Excellent supply of toiletries, the bedding and towels were excellent quality. Bobbies retreat in located in old Bridlington which was quiet and quirky. Parking is time limited outside but this was no problem as they was free on street parking nearby.

“20 High Street was an ideal choice for our family for a short break during half term.”

It's a lovely house full of character and situated in the old historic part of Bridlington which was also full of charm. The location was still walkable to the sea front end of the town with the beach, promenade and attractions. The house was an ideal size for our party of 4 plus dog (but can sleep 5) and was very well appointed, nicely decorated with good quality furnishings. There were also nice little touches you don't always see in holiday rentals which made the place feel really welcoming. As mentioned in the description there are parking restrictions outside but this wasn't a problem for us as there is plenty of unrestricted parking just a short walk away. It was a great base to explore the rest of the coastline and moors and we could highly recommend Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay.

The cottage itself was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and filled with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. From the comfortable beds to the cosy living room, everything is designed with comfort in mind. The hosts were fantastic ensuring we had everything we needed while respecting our privacy. “The property was beautifully renovated with great attention to detail, it was really well equipped, warm and very clean, lots of thought had been given to guest comfort and we could not fault anything.”

The cottage is in a great location in the Old Town with lots of pubs and coffee shops on the High Street, there is also a Co Op and Aldi a short walk away. We also appreciated the owners sending text messages to check all was ok and offering help etc for the local area. We would recommend this property.

The seaside resort of Bridlington lies on the east coast of Yorkshire, south of Scarborough and Filey. Two award-winning beaches of golden sand stretch out on either side of the historic harbour, bustling with activity. Beautifully designed promenades provide everything from fun-fairs to quiet places where you can sit and watch the world go by. Shops, attractions, restaurants and the historic 'Old Town' of Bridlington offer a fascinating contrast to life on the beach, where the latest Dad's Army has been filmed, whilst the Bridlington Spa Theatre on the front provides evening entertainment.
