Lovely cottage with everything you would have needed

First visit to Lilly May cottage, although regular visitors to Flamborough!

It was immaculate and very tastefully decorated, a real credit to the owner. We had a lovely week, looking forward to a return visit!

Third time stay at this cottage,first at Christmas.

The festive trimmings were absolutely lovely made us feel very happy to be there.Spotlessly clean and comfortable.Our little dog Rosie,loves the garden to have a secure place to run about and play in. We contacted the owner on arrival and she was so helpful and friendly.Will definitely be back.

The lilly may cottage was absolutely brilliant lovely cottage and great walks nearby only gripe settee a little uncomfortable but would gladly return

This was only a short stop for us over three nights.

The house was very comfortable, everything we needed, right down to milk in the fridge. Comfortable nights sleep and fully equipped kitchen. We were exploring the coastal path to both Filey and Bridlington. We would recommend this accommodation

Lovely property very spacious in a nice position shops close by with many places to eat the property is well maintained and looked after we enjoyed our stay Would recommend

Lilly May Cottage was a cosy and well equipped property and the cleanliness was to a very high standard.

The only minor issue that I would suggest that needs addressing is the lack of a down stairs coat hanging facility.

Had another lovely stay at Lilly May and will definitely be back.

Just a bit disappointed that the twin room had not had the beds made up for our arrival so my daughter had to sleep with me in the double room for the week.

We have been staying at lily may for a good few years now and its absolutely brilliant clean everything you need would highly recommend it

Lovely house nice quiet area small village but just as I like it personally for me ideal.

Tracy the owner is lovely attentive to detail in the property, simply can’t fault anything that was our 2nd visit already booked our 3rd.

Really beautiful cottage, location is great as central to other places.

King size bed a bonus and the cottage had plenty of room and was nicely decorated, which led to a comfortable and relaxing stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this property.

It had every we needed to make our time here a good one. We enjojed the sunny garden in the afternoon after some long walks. The only issue was uncomfortable sofas.

Lots to do around the area. Recommend the rose and crown for good drinks atmosphere. The chippy was great value and very tasty. Loved the spam fritter We will be returning as soon as we can.

Lovely spacious property, one of the best I have stayed in.

Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The only thing missing was a bath mat for when you step out of the bath, otherwise everything was perfect. The biscuits were delicious too - thank you.

Right up to the point we got home we would book again when we received a phone call as we walked through our front door from Tracey saying she wasn't happy to find sand and dog hair upstairs the answers NO to booking again.

We didn't have outlr dog upstairs at any time the sand is from our coats and fleeces as there is no hanging hooks for coats down stairs the dog hair is from our socks brought upstairs. But I'm fuming with the way she spoke to my partner about this. We are seeking legal advice.

Our second visit to Lily May Cottage and already looking forward to our next.

All properties should be like this one,it is so pretty inside but also very comfortable.It has everything you need for a relaxing break away.For us the main thing is the cleanliness and facilities.The garden is ideal for our little dog and if the weather had been a bit warmer lovely to sit out in. We had a couple of problems on arrival but Tracie called round and sorted them for us. Would definitely recommend this cottage.

Everything was perfect, BUT when I tried to book another week there we have been black listed for (breakages) the only thing that was already brook in the house was a glass, my husband and I are oap,s I now feel distraught at being black listed

Had a great week despite the weather but unfortunately we can’t book the weather.

The accommodation was A1 lovely clean and cosy very well equipped Tracy went above and beyond when I asked if there was a hair dryer . The garden is very secure for your furry pet, very quiet and peaceful area central for getting out and about plenty of restaurants for a small village. We will most definitely be back.

Very comfortable property, in easy walking distance to local pubs and restaurants which were of good quality.

The garden was enclosed and very safe for our dog. Perfect location for exploring the beautiful Yorkshire coast. Would not hesitate booking this property again.

Stayed at lily may for a few years now and really enjoy it it's got everything you need and really comfortable, the only thing it needs is them bushes at the front cutting so you can see to get on and off drive properly apart from that really happy thankyou

It was so clean and comfortable and the way it had been ‘decorated’was just like out of a magazine making our stay something special. Flamborough was a lovely place easy to get around to visit the area. People were friendly and helpful too. Have already booked Lilly May for a return visit next year.

Everything was as advertised.

A lovely well equipped house in Flamborough and close to everything you could possibly need. Four pubs, a chemist, a Co-Op, a butchers and cafes also. Only thing the house would benefit from are some small occasional tables in the living room ,just somewhere to put your cup or glass when sitting on the very comfy sofas.

A beautiful well equipped comfortable Cottage set in a lovely rural location.

The property is clean, comfortable and well equipped with all one would need for a comfortable stay. The information within the Cottage for attractions In the surrounding area is fabulous. We walked to the cliffs so many seabirds including puffins and seals. We visited York, eden camp and Scarborough to name a few great days out. We highly recommend this seagull restaurant a couple of hundred yards from the property amazing food and friendly service. We would definitely return to this beautiful property many thanks for a wonderful memorable holiday.

Second stay at this lovely cottage.

Clean and very comfortable and well equipped. There are a number of nice places to eat in the village and it is a fabulous base for a holiday

This was our second time in staying at the property and we were not disappointed.

Such a cosy accommodation set in a lovely location. Tracey the host is so hospitable, helpful and friendly. We love the walks on the doorstep particularly as we took our dog. The Dane Dykes is only a short trip up the road which is great for shelter from the rain or sunshine as it has a beautiful woodlands walk. However the walk from the property to Thornwick Bay up the road is just as lovely too and free to walk around. We were made to feel very welcomed at the house lots of comfort and everything is to hand all our us had a very restful, enjoyable two weeks. We would definately stay again.

I have stayed in lily may cottage 3 times now and it never disappoints everything you need spotlessly clean and in a great location x

Lilly May is a very comfortable homely cottage with everything you need and in a good location for visiting other places

The property was beautifully clean and comfortable with lots to do in the area, however when we arrived one on the front lounge windows was open, 13 cushions were piled on the small sofa (how to arrange them?

). Also no note to tell us freezer and cooker hood didn’t work and there was no dishcloth, no oven gloves and only one tea towel.

Lilly May is a spacious, clean, well-equipped house that covered all our needs very well.

It is an ideal base for investigating the local area.

This is our second stay at the property it's beautiful and clean and extremely comfortable and centrally based.

Flamborough and the surrounding areas are lovely, we have had some great walking.

Property spotlessly clean, but a few basics missing - eg, cafetiere and cups, non-slip shower mat and bath mat. Parking a bit of a problem for a bigger car as the driveway is shared with a van and trailer driver - so a bit tight!! Very upset to be falsely accused and charged an extra £20 ( which Sykes have very kindly paid for us ) for something we know we did not do.

Comfortable well appointed cottage in a good position to access many parts of the East Yorkshire coast.

The enclosed garden was ideal for our dog. There is a great choice of pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance of the property.

Really enjoyed it ,nice house comfortable,,and such a lovely place will definitely be going back

Lovely cottage, comfortable, clean and well kitted out for whatever you might choose to do during your stay, great location for walking, dining out and exploring the local area. Love it!

The cottage was beautiful, spotlessly clean it had everything you could need.

Flamborough is a beautiful part of the Yorkshire coast and the locality if the cottage is perfect for local restaurants and pubs. The only thing I would say is that check out time at 9.30 is the earliest we have ever had when staying in your cottages

Our stay at Lilly May cottage was amazing,there was everything you need,there wasn't a speck of dust to be seen it was spotless.

very spacious and a lovely garden to sit in the Sun the bed was really comfortable and a lovely rainfall shower and bath. The village is lovely it has four pubs that do food and are also dog friendly,there's a Coop a newsagent two fish and chip shops,a chemist and a vegetable shop. We didn't want to come home it was that comfortable,we will definitely book again,we have been coming to Flamborough now for 8 years and its by far the best cottage we have stayed in close to all amenities we have found a little gem!!

It’s well presented, spotlessly clean and comfortable. This is a great cottage for people who enjoy walking and it’s in easy reach of Beverley and Scarborough, Hull and York.

The property is a house not a cottage.

It was very clean and had everything we needed. I didn't like the quilts on the beds as they kept slipping off and were noisy. Not sure if these were used due to COVID. I thought having to be out for 9:00 am was early, it is usually.10:00 am. The house was situated in a brilliant place to be able to walk to the shops/pubs.

This is a lovely cottage in a great location.

It was spotlessly clean and really comfortable with everything you need for a perfect stay. I would highly recommend Lilly May. My only issue is the 9am check out time but I guess that this is standard due to Covid? It didn't spoil our stay though.

Lovely cottage, very well positioned for Flamborough head and Bridlington.

Nice pub "Seabirds Inn" 5 minutes walk, best to book a table as very popular. Couple of negatives, parking is on the road as the drive is shared - I feel this could of been made clearer, basic things like bin bags\tin opener\back door mat\bath mat\coat hooks were missing. Also when leaving we had to strip the beds and put in laundry bags which I dont think is necessary. Overall we had a nice holiday.

A clean and comfortable cottage with everything that we needed for a pleasant break.

The only downside was parking as the driveway is actually shared so you have to park out front which was tight for an Audi A5. Smaller cars will have no problem.

Lilly May cottage is a beautiful house with all you need, set in the heart of Flamborough close to both shops & pubs .

We had a fantastic time exploring the coast on walks with our german shepherd Lady then at the end of the day relaxing on the huge sofa. We did not want to leave as it feels like home

The cottage was spotless and everything you needed lovely private garden so was great for dogs in a brilliant central location definitely book again x

High bath sides are a problem to get into bath, if you are an older person there is no grab rail.

The gas fire is out of order but they only tell you that in the booklet that is in the cottage.

House was in an excellent location.

We had a fabulous week at Lilly May Cottage.

It is very comfortable, clean and beautifully furnished. We really liked Flamborough Head and were delighted to have seen the puffins.

Apart from a couple of very minor niggles this property met all our expectations and very comfortable.

It was spotlessly clean and having a nice large TV and Sky was really good, so many places we've stayed have a silly little TV! On the whole a very nice property and lovely place to stay.

An excellent accomodation let down by the seating in the livingroom,otherwise,the best ever!

Lilly May Cottage is a excellent holiday property & we enjoyed staying there very much.

The fact that we had wonderful sunny weather each & every day was a added bonus, so much so we abandoned the ideas of visiting places further afield to enjoy even more what was on our doorstep in & around Flamborough / Bridlington. We would certainly recommend this holiday property to anyone & would love to return to it sometime soon.

It’s in a great spot for exploring what Flamborough has to offer as well as being easy to get to other places on the coast. We really enjoyed our break & would certainly recommend it.

Enjoyed it lovely place and cottage

The cottage is well laid out spacious.

It is on a road which is a main through route for the village and yet quiet and peaceful. There is an abundance of places to visit in the immediate area, for all tastes really, and it would have been good to stay longer.

The accommodation was welcoming and very comfortable.

We lived the house and the location. The owner is very friendly and left us a nice welcome package too.The location is perfect for getting to the coast and there are lots of fabulous walks locally which comes in hand if you have a dog. Danes Dyke is a nature reserve just minutes down the road from the house. Filey with its lovely seafront is only half an hour away. Whitby is only just over an hour's drive away too. Seems to be very dog friendly around East Yorkshire.

What a beautiful cottage with everything you need, fantastic kitchen and bedrooms, lovely lounge ,tv and wifi good, very clean well presented cottage.
