The heart of the home is the kitchen/diner, where you can chat and cook up a storm with loved ones, before gathering in the sitting room for a movie night on the sofa.

As you ascend the stairs, you will be welcomed by two further bedrooms, a double with TV and en-suite shower room, and a second double, each beautifully-presented and with plenty of storage for your belongings.

End your evening with a soak in the clawfoot bath of the family bathroom, or head out to the private rear garden, complete with patio furniture and a hot tub where you can relax and stargaze the night away.

When sleep calls, hunker down ready for another day of exciting adventures.

We stayed at the Grange, specifically the Pheasantry Cottage, for 4 nights with our 2 Labradors.

We absolutely loved our stay. The cottage is well presented and welcoming. Despite some areas needing a slight upgrade and certain items needing replacement (pans, carpets, sofas) it was very homely and certainly didn’t disappoint our stay. We understand that it is a dog friendly cottage so wear and tear is to be expected. The cottage is a short walk to the beach which the dogs and my toddler loved! A short distance to some lovely pubs with great food. We couldn’t recommend this cottage enough. We will definitely be back again

We absolutely loved this property.

Amazimg location, we stayed 4 nights and didnt scratch the surface of places to see. Perfect house.

First couple of days/nights there was a large party of people next door, and the noise travelled.

The property may benefit from some sound proofing on the adjoining wall. The property itself was spacious and comfortable, though there were areas that would benefit from some TLC. The kitchen units are worn in places and could do with re treating. There were stains on the carpet on the stairs landing and a bedroom. Downstairs has laminate flooring throughout. The downstairs shower room would benefit from a good scrub in the shower area. The frying pans could do with an upgrade, though they can be damaged if washed regularly in a dishwasher, if they are non stick, so it's a difficult one to resolve. Theres a washing machine in the kitchen which was a bonus. The hot tub was clean and welcoming, though the lid was also showing signs of wear in places. The garden was peaceful, plenty of birds. The location a great place to be based, visited; Hornsea, Skipsea,Bridlington, Humanby Gap, Filey, Flamborough head, whilst there, as well as taking a couple of strolls round the village of Flamborough. The Pheasantry is dog friendly, the garden was a lovely size for our dogs, although not totally secure and was as described. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in with good bed linen. Parking space outside the property.

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay at the Pheasantry.

The large, well-stocked kitchen was a highlight, and the spacious lounge with a dining table provided a comfortable setting for relaxation. We would definitely consider booking this property again in the future. However, we have some suggestions that could enhance the experience and potentially elevate the property to a perfect score: 1. **Hanging Rails**: We recommend removing the hanging rails in the rooms, as clothes tend to slip off them easily. 2. **Wardrobe Addition**: It would be beneficial to add a wardrobe, particularly in the downstairs bedroom, for better storage options. 3. **Additional Hangers**: Providing more hangers for clothes would improve guest convenience. Additionally, we found that it can be easy to miss the turn leading to the property. A roadside sign indicating "Pheasantry" would be a helpful addition. We hope this feedback is received in a constructive manner. My wife and I have traveled extensively this year, staying in various cottages, each with its unique charm. This particular cottage ranks among the top options we've experienced and we believe it would appeal to a wide range of guests. Overall, we would certainly be open to returning in the future.

We were pleased to have a downstairs bedroom as being disabled we would never have managed the stairs.

Not so pleased to have to walk through the kitchen to visit the bathroom especially at night. We found the shower handle almost impossible to turn off as it was so stiff. It would be good to have instructions for the oven as being technically challenged we all found turning on the oven a bit difficult as the symbols only showed for a moment. The heating was also rather temperamental however when we contacted maintenance they sorted any problem straight away Our dogs were well catered for, lots of throws and treats. The cottage was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

The property was in a lovely location, with all amenities provided we enjoyed a well needed break away as a family of 5.

However we were rather disappointed with the Hot tub as after 3 days the water smelt like a pond, it was clear the maintenance team had not been to add more chlorine, as on arrival the water smelt clean with chlorine. We did feel the overall cleanliness was okay but could be improved, there are many cobwebs in the lighting. As advised we had to leave the place clean and tidy, on trying to hoover the floor there was no suction from the hoover, this was because it was totally full, it had no been emptied in a long time. We did empty it to leave the place clean, not that we should have needed to. Regrettably due to the above points made I don't think we will be returning.
