    “Southpoint is a real 'home from home', and is probably the best accommodation I have visited.”

    Myself and my dog were welcomed on arrival by the friendly owner, Dennis, who explained a few things. We were then left to enjoy our break, knowing both Dennis and his wife, Jennifer, were on hand, should we need anything. This accommodation is amazing: very spacious... very comfortable ... very well-equipped and, being only a minute's walk from the beach, has a lovely sea view too. The enclosed garden area with patio furniture is also a lovely space. I will definitely go back but, as the ...

South Point is a fabulous ground floor apartment, just a stone's throw from the sea front in Bridlington.

With light, spacious rooms, this bright and airy property is perfect for families to enjoy a traditional seaside holiday, with all amenities close at hand.

Two steps up leads you into this inviting apartment, with a contemporary feel throughout.

The large sitting room catches the afternoon sun and looks out onto a private patio.

With comfortable sofas and a warming woodburner for those cooler evenings, guests can sit and relax, watching the Smart TV, while toasting their toes by the fire.

A second snug sitting room, with an additional TV, allows plenty of space to spread out.

The well-equipped kitchen/diner has ample space to cook and eat together, as well as a small conservatory for that mid-morning coffee whilst looking out towards the sea.

A handy utility houses the white goods and is ideal for kicking off those boots after a walk along the coastal path.

Both bedrooms offer en-suites, ensuring no queues in the morning, and the double bedroom, with sea views, has a wide bay window where the morning sun streams in.

To the front of the property is a pebbled area with ample space to sit and admire the view and to the side is a south facing courtyard - a lovely sun trap to relax in.

With the advantage of off road parking, rarely found in Bridlington, this makes for the perfect holiday home.

Just a couple of minutes' walk and you are on the sea front, with miles of golden sands for building sand castles, paddling in the sea or walking along the promenade.

A ten minute stroll brings you to the local shops and pubs and all the towns amenities, with an excellent array of shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs.

The area around is a haven for nature and bird lovers, with Bempton Bird Sanctuary and wonderful cliff top walks around Flamborough easily accessible.

Visit Sewerby Hall house and gardens, Danes Dyke and Burton Agnes Hall, all within a short drive.

Filey 10 miles; Scarborough 20 miles.

The seaside resort of Bridlington lies on the east coast of Yorkshire, south of Scarborough and Filey. Two award-winning beaches of golden sand stretch out on either side of the historic harbour, bustling with activity. Beautifully designed promenades provide everything from fun-fairs to quiet places where you can sit and watch the world go by. Shops, attractions, restaurants and the historic 'Old Town' of Bridlington offer a fascinating contrast to life on the beach, where the latest Dad's Army has been filmed, whilst the Bridlington Spa Theatre on the front provides evening entertainment. There is also the East Riding Leisure Centre, with family swimming area and a variety of other indoor activities. Further afield are the picturesque villages and scenery of the Yorkshire Wolds, the neighbouring resorts of Filey, Scarborough and Whitby and the spectacular heritage coastline. There are numerous places to visit in the area, including Bempton's RSPB bird sanctuary, Sewerby Hall, Danes Dyke and Flamborough Head with its cliffs and caves. A great area for bird and nature lovers, or simply for touring.
