“Sea Spell Loft is a beautiful apartment, with the most stunning views!”

It is lovely to listen to the sounds of the ocean. The hosts were very communicative and I appreciated the welcome gifts :). Everything you could need is no more than a 10 minute walk away, including the laundrette, restaurants and shops. The beach is a 2 minute walk, right in front of the house. We had a fabulous week, we love Hornsea!

“Lovely 4 Night Break at Sea Spell Loft The apartment was modern and spacious and we both liked the lobby where we could take off our dirty shoes before heading upstairs to the cosy rooms.”

We loved sitting by the main window looking out onto the promenade & sea beyond. We were lucky enough to see dolphins swimming in the bay for an hour one morning. Hornsea itself was a pleasant surprise, lots of nice walks, green spaces & flowers. We will definitely return in the future.

“What a fabulous place to stop, views are brilliant even though we had a massive storm on the Saturday.”

Very clean. Close to everything in Hornsea. The only reason I’ve not given it 5 stars is the double bed I think is a small double and the mattress seemed to slope down both side. Otherwise I can’t fault the loft

“Great apartment, perfect location with a view to die for.”

You get clear and simple instructions in good time. Everything you could need are provided including fresh milk, cake and snacks. Not ideal if you have mobility problems, nearly 3 flights of stairs, but you wouldn’t get that gorgeous view without them! Will recommend to friends and family

The allocated off street parking is an extra bonus The loft apartment was spotlessly clean, modern , very spacious and well equipped. “The apartment is in a perfect location.”

It has a wonderful view of the sea in the living room. The bedrooms has side sea view. There is parking for 1 car and it's off road. There are lots of free parking nearby too. The pub is so near. The foral cafe next door does lovely food. The local shops are a few minutes walk away with a butcher there. There are many parks and green area nearby also. We look forward to going back.

So not for anyone who struggles with stairs. Beautiful inside. Lovely thick carpeting throughout. Modern tasteful decor. Everything available if needed. Very clean and tidy. Amazing sea view. Cafe and pub very close by. Shop just down the road. Easy walk into the town. Considering the view the price for our 4 nights was very reasonable.

“Fantastic week's stay in this lovely apartment.”

It's bigger than expected in a great location. Very clean with everything you need. Great communication from the owners via message and left to enjoy our holiday. Lovely welcome pack of milk, cake and crisps. Parking outside. We only used the car once to visit family in Scarborough, bus stop outside for bus to Beverly with loads of walks nearby. Lots of dog friendly bars and restaurants within easy reach. Appreciated the fact there are no extra rules on arrival which can be the case for a lot of places ensuring we could relax and enjoy. Would definitely like to return.

“Sea Spell is a wondeful place to stay.”

Its deceptively spacious, it has absolutely everything you need, it has amazing sea views from every window, and its less than a minutes walk to the beach & pub. The designated parking space is very handy, and the location of Sea Spell means you really don't need your car again, unless you go on day trips etc. The owners Mick & Ros were very helpful, great levels of communication, and nothing seemed like it was too much trouble. This stay was so enjoyable that I rebooked for later in the year, before I'd even left Sea Spell.

We stayed for four nights and never used the car as we wandered around horncastle every day. The views from the lounge window was great and every morning we had a coffee with the windows open listening to the sea. We have already booked again for next year. Not only spacious easily accessible and presented to the highest standards. The views from the property are as close to perfect as I can imagine and the property is but a short walk to the seafront. Four adults and one German Shepherd had a great experience and one we would highly recommend to others. “Four of us had a fantastic weekend.”

The property was larger than expected, being a "loft" type apartment. Very clean, light, comfortable and had everything you could need. Parking space an added advantage. Great views from all windows out to the sea. We took a stroll along the prom into town for breakfast, but also went further afield. An ideal base to come back to. The Marine nearby also serves good food if you don't want to cook. Would definitely return. Oh, and the shower - I would like one at home!

“We had a lovely long weekend here for my birthday.”

The main living area is compact. However it was cosy and comfortable with all the facilities needed. A clean modern bathroom with a nice walk in shower. The bed was comfortable, a king size one would have been the icing on the cake. Glorious views over the sea and it was fabulous to be able to hear the waves breaking. An easy 10 minute walk into the town centre, a bit further to The Mere. Would definitely stay here again.

“Am amazing setting close to amenities.”

Comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed looking out to sea when eating meals sat at the dinning room table. Regarding accuracy of listing, we were aware that there were stairs we had to climb to enter the property but would suggest adding that there are further stairs to the apartment. I was also surprised that there wasn't a washing up bowl or any cloths/scourers provided. We had to go out and buy them! I loved the apartment and our week away in Honsea but due to my husband's health we will unfortunately not be able to return.

“A lovely apartment with amazing sea views The apartment is clean, modern and spacious and is well equipped with everything you'll need.”

The owners provided a welcome pack with tea, milk and biscuits which was much appreciated as we arrived quite late. The views over the promenade are fantastic and we loved watching the sun rise over the ocean as we ate our breakfast at the dining table. The apartment is perfect for exploring the local area with everything you need in walking distance. The Marine pub just across the road is the perfect place to warm up after a walk a long the beach and the Floral Cafe does a lovely breakfast. We'll definitely be back for another stay later in the year

“One of the best property and locations we have stayed in.”

This apartment is very historic and has had an amazing redevelopment. All the rooms are generous in size and well equipped with absolutely stunning views from its duel aspect windows. From the open plan living/kitchen, you have uninterrupted views out to sea and from both the bedrooms, you can see Flamborough head. In the week we stayed here, we did spend endless time looking out the windows and through the property owners binoculars. Apparently dolphins can sometimes be seen, we did however see a seal just out to sea. The apartment comes with extensive storage and 3 good quality TV’s. The allocated off street parking, is well away from the street and felt very safe. The property’s location is so handy for all the local amenities and a very easy walk into the town. The owners were so helpful and offered assistance when needed. We stayed here as a couple with a small dog and we will be returning again.

Bridlington 15 miles.

The pretty seaside town of Hornsea lies on the East Coast, 15 miles south of Bridlington. This old Victorian resort has long, wide, safe sandy beaches and an attractive promenade with well-kept gardens, ideal for families. The bustling town centre has an old-fashioned feel with a good variety of small shops, pubs and cafes, whilst nearby Hornsea Mere is the largest natural lake in Yorkshire and offers sailing, fishing and boat trips. Hornsea Freeport is popular for shopping, whilst Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve can be reached in just over half an hour's drive, offering one of the largest mainland puffin populations in Britain.
