“We stay in cottages all over the country many times a year and have done for years.”

This is quite simply the best equipped, most comfortable, homely cottage we have ever stayed in. The owners have gone more than the extra mile to make it more like a home than a holiday cottage. This is quite simply the best equipped, most comfortable, homely cottage we have ever stayed in. The owners have gone more than the extra mile to make it more like a home than a holiday cottage. It was so beautifully prepared with such thoughtful extras provided (eggs! beautiful bread! Parkin! Wold Top Beers - a favourite of ours...) The internet is actually fast enough to be usable unlike so many cottages we stay in where it is dire. A full Sky package - upstairs AND downstairs - with Sport. We could have hugged the owners! Then to get a phone call from them after our stay expressing concern that our car had been broken into was the ultimate kindness. These owners and this cottage is the one we will now measure all others by and I fear they will all come up wanting. Thank you so much for the perfect holiday that we will never forget.
