    What you see is what you get, sofa a little old but still it was comfortable, brilliant record collection that me and my son loved, on the whole we have nothing negative to say about the cottage, some places and I’ve booked a few though Sykes are cold and the heating is only set to a low temp, the cobblers cottage was very warm the moment we walked in, beds comfortable too so no complaints from us, I’d definitely stop here again

An attractive, semi-detached Grade II stone-built cottage with a pantile roof in the delightful North Yorkshire town of Pickering, which has been refurbished to a high standard throughout within a traditional cottage setting.

A trout farm lies almost adjacent to the railway station and nearby Flamingo Land ensures fun and entertainment for all the family.

This pretty cottage lies in the heart of the North York Moors and is also just a short drive from the beautiful market town of Helmsley, Yorkshire coastal resorts of Whitby, Scarborough, Robin Hoods Bay and Staithes.

With the historic city of York just 30-40 minute drive away, this delightful cottage is in a superb location for a fabulous family holiday to explore the Yorkshire Moors and surrounding areas.

Kirkbymoorside 7 miles; Helmsley 13 miles; Scarborough 18 miles; Whitby 22 miles; York 27 miles.

This historic market town, with its full range of amenities and traditional shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, serves as the official gateway to the beautiful North York Moors National Park, home of the Heartbeat countryside. Enjoy a ride on the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway, where Harry Potter fans can even explore some of the locations used in the filming of The Philosopher’s Stone! The Beck Isle Museum is also well worth a visit, with its unique collection of black and white photography and displays of rural life. Walkers will be spoilt for choice by the rolling hills, valleys, rivers and abundant wildlife of the North York Moors, whilst the city of York and the Heritage Coast are just half an hour’s drive away.
