Sea-u-Soon

Sea u soon is such an easy property to settle into and was very welcoming and bright.

Good size rooms and the owner has thought of everything with little touches you take for granted at home. It is ideally located for exploring the area and coastline. Very quiet too.Ample parking .Worth a visit.

Was very nice enjoyed our time there would come again.

Lovely welcome pack which is very needed when you arrive. Slept well. Owner has thought of everything you may need or have forgotten.. (except matches we asked our kind neighbours as we were leaving to go to co-op for a BBQ) we will be back next year x Thankyou

This is the 3rd time we've stay in this accommodation, we love it so much.

It's perfect for us , with only a bus ride away to Whitby, everything is close at hand. We've booked again for October for my birthday.

We’ve stayed in a lot of UK holiday homes and I have to stay this was our most comfortable stay. The apartment has absolutely everything you could possibly need! The location is perfect too, we had great fun exploring the bay and walking to Staithes along the Cleveland Way. Highly recommend!

Great property well equipped and very comfortable.

Location is great for walks costal or inland.there is also a bus that stops every 30 minutes on the road outside the property I cant fault this was our 4th stay over 6 years and we would certainly book again without hesitation

It is a really nice place to stay, clean, warm and an excellent location for exploring the North Yorkshire Coast and Moors. The parking at the property is easy, beds are comfortable and the shower is very good. Close to the pub and the flat is very good value for money. We will certainly return.

Second time ive stayed here, its perfect, and I'll definitely be booking again for the springtime with my mum and dog Ellsie!

lovely spacious flat, well equipped and great location.

main bus route very close for easy access to Whitby and Staithes without taking the car. I appreciated the dressing table set up with makeup mirror in the really big bedroom.

Ive been coming here for a few years now & you have exactly the same soft furnishings.

I think it's time for an update as they're starting to look a bit tired. The living room could do with a change of carpet to one that doesn't show up stains so much eg. One of those wool ones with lots of flecks.

Our second stay at ‘Sea You Soon’ and we are returning in October.

We really like this flat. The location, parking and level of equipment provided is excellent for the money. Runswick Bay is a quiet, beautiful location with some good walks with the dog from the door step. Both Whitby and Saltburn are close by and the North York Moors are just in land. Overall, a lovely part of the country and the flat represents excellent value for money for a week away from it all.

This was a really clean and comfortable flat.

The garden is communal but it is not a problem

Wonderful place.

Clean and comfortable with everything you need (for us and the dog). Great welcome pack wine, coffee, tea, milk and biscuits (thank you). Location is spot on, so close to the beach and nice countryside views from the windows. We have stopped here a few times and it never disappoints. Our greyhound loves it.

A very peaceful spot, the apartment is light and airy with lovely views across the countryside.

Really well appointed and well equipped. Sunny garden. Great welcome pack on arrival - wine, coffee, tea, milk, biscuits etc. Nice clean bathroom and clear information about how to use appliances etc. Comfy beds.

After my dad passed away, I brought my mum for a few days break away,this was the absolute perfect location for us both and our little dog Ellsie.

I cannot fault any part of this apartment, it was cosy, comfy extremely clean and well equipped. We took the bus to Whitby and had lovely days there. Thank you so much ❤️ xxx

We really enjoyed our stay at ‘Sea u Soon’.

The flat is surprisingly spacious with everything you need for a comfortable get away. It is fitted with storage heaters and was really warm, the shower was good and unlike many places the parking was simple. The weather was kind for late October and the flat was ideally located for some good walks on the Cleveland Way. We had a really nice 7 mile walk into Whitby and Saltburn is only a short trip in the car. Overall it was a good break and the flat was very good value for what we paid. Would definitely come back.

Nice welcome pack with tea, coffee, biscuits and even a bottle of wine. Comfortable bed and sofa. I liked the fact that there was a small freezer. Enclosed garden was very useful for my dog. 3 of the 4 flats seem to be holiday homes but the one permanent resident (Lisa) was very friendly. Even the weather was great in October. Plenty of parking and very quiet. The beach and coastal paths are lovely but I quickly learned to check the tide times as nearly got cut off one day. Probably not somewhere to stay with children if you’re not keen on the steep path or road down to the beach every day. Good exercise though.

Accommodation has everything you need and more, it’s lovely and clean and warm which helps on a wet day! Certainly won’t be our last visit

A very pleasant holiday cottage.

The kitchen in particular was very well equipped. The welcome pack was very welcome (especially the wine!). An ideal location for exploring the coastline, which is lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Easy parking and near bus stop especially when you are older it makes getting to places easier lovely apartment have been before

Only thing we found was the pressure of the hot water tap was low.

And toilet flush very slow to fill up after flushing. But having said that the apartment was 5* in every way fantastic and very comfortable. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you for a very fantastic experience.

This apartment is so nicely set up with such thought and attention to the needs of guests.

Lovely surprise when entering on our first day, bigger than expected, very clean, in a very quiet location.

plenty parking around the back. We really enjoyed our stay. 10 mins drive to Sandsend, nice big beach. 20 mins drive to Whitby. Would recommend and will be booking again. Great little place.

Pleasant stay, the welcome pack was lovely x The only negative we found was the tv signal wasn’t good at times.

(Maybe wouldn’t bother others) Slept well - maybe due to the hills and steps, but nice to get into a nice clean bedding at night. Perfect Thankyou

The apartment was very clean, nicely decorated with everything you need. We really appreciated the biscuits, milk, wine and coffee on arrival. The beach is so beautiful and we will definitely return.

Had a lovely stay, forgot to put anything in the visitors book, so il comment here, it had everything we needed and more, fantastic location, perfect for walks, ready to use before 3, granddaughter loved watching the chickens and sheep, Definitely return

The flat is really lovely, clean and well maintained and the owner is really nice.

I would definitely stay here again. The only negative for myself was trying to find the property initially. Especially when it's dark. The flat is in a 2 story block of flats, that say Runswick Lodge, no number on there. To get to it, you have to go down a drive at the side of number 38, behind a hedge and the street it's on isn't well lit, so it's really hard to see house numbers. We had to park up and I had to run up and down the road with a torch to find the property. Also it wasn't clear that the keysafe was inside, we're used to them being outside the property and wasn't aware the entrance door was open. Again the carpark doesn't have any lights. In the light this wouldn't have been so much of an issue but when it's dark and you can't find the place it's a bit stressful, otherwise its lovely.

We had a great time at sea u soon.

Well positioned for all that we wanted to do. Flat was very comfortable having more than enough equipment to make our stay a good one. Having contacted the owner directly regarding a faulty kettle, it was replaced within 24 hours. Can't ask for more than that. Would certainly consider going back if we decide to stop in Runswick again.

The location and setting was perfect with regard to accessing tourist attractions within and beyond the area.

The flat was exceptional with regard to having a welcome pack, cleanliness and comfort. We would definitely come back again.

I was reluctant to book the property because it was listed with Sykes.

Their reputation, particularly during the pandemic, concerned me. The property though was fantastic. Clean and well appointed, some lovely local artwork and useful starter bits. We had a very good holiday, although I'm very glad we had friends staying at the bottom so we could leave our beach stuff rather than dragging them up the hill overnight!

A most comfortable stay with quality furnishings throughout.

Very well equipped for a self-catering stay. Perfect welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and wine; much appreciated. Beds comfy, towels fluffy. A quiet location close to the dog friendly RNLI patrolled beach and walking distance to two hotels with a bar and restaurant. No complaints from us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The flat was well equipped and clean and comfortable near sea found place to eat which were happy for the dogs to come in plenty of places to walk great visit to Whitby overall great place will try and visit again

We were delighted with the apartment, it was very spacious and yet so quiet with the added bonus of a dedicated car park space.

The 2 queries we had were soon resolved by ringing the owner on our first night. We would happily stay here again.

Lovely stay at “See U Soon” the property was immaculately clean, comfortable and warm.

A nice touch of a welcome tray went down really well. The location is great for walking the Cleveland Way or to get on or off the local buses which stops outside the property. We would certainly book again

This is a great property.

Fully equipped for all your needs, clean, warm and comfortable. The location is perfect for you to leave the car and walk. The beach is 5-10 mins, great for fossil hunting, swimming, seal spotting or just soaking up the sun. The dog friendly pubs with food are even closer. The Cleveland way is on the doorstep and the bus stop is almost immediately outside the property so if you walk a long way you can get the bus back. Whitby is about 15mins drive and always a great day out. Can’t fault the property or the location.

Fab place to stay, cosy but spacious, everything you needed for a fab break away.

Comfortable beds, and sofa, very warm, all facilities excellent. Welcome tray a nice touch especially the wine and biscuits. Good parking which is important in this village. Would recommend for couples or small families.

We had a problem before the holiday as we had to change the dates to go a few days later.

Did well to get this sorted at such late notice. We loved the apartment and found it very well equipped. We appreciated the welcome pack.

Comfortable, spacious and well equipped apartment in great location.

Nice decor with lots of local pictures on the walls. Good quality crockery, utensils etc. Welcome pack of tea, coffee, biscuits, milk, wine. There were a couple of things that needed addressing: shower head and hose needed a thorough clean and heated towel rail was very dusty. Lack of plug sockets in king-size bedroom was an inconvenience.

Runswick bay is perfect for families lovely beach and sea you soon was ideal for walking along the coast or down to the beach.

The welcome pack was lovely, able to have a cuppa and biscuit after a long journey.

Bottle of wine was a nice touch. The flat was lovely and clean with toiletries in the bathroom. Personally I found the beds a little too soft but the rest of my party were fine. The nice touch was we had a power cut and the people who look after the flat came over to check we were okay and had we found the torches.

Due to the covid situation, we arrived armed with Dettol spray and wipes, but as soon as we entered it was clear that the apartment was spotless!

The beds were really comfy, fluffy towels, huge sets of quality crockery and glasses, and despite a large group being in the flat next door we couldn't hear a thing. So peaceful. There was nothing this place didn't have, and walking distance to the beach too. Perfect!

Sea-u-soon was a very well equipped, comfortable and clean flat, in a lovely area.

Lots to see and do in the area, but a lovely house to relax in too. The kitchen had everything you could need - and more. The only downside [for us] was the steepness of the hill to the beach, and the parking charges if we took the car. Walking not being an option and no way could the wheel chair cope on that gradient!

We had a fantastic weekend staying at Sea-U-Soon, the accommodation was presented exceptionally, everything you could need for a long weekend was there.

The area was so peaceful and the views were spectacular. We are already discussing coming back again next year!
