    “Good value for the holiday home.”

    Some T.L.C. is required and perhaps some small changes would make a good improvement. Curtains across two small windows in the main bedroom (nets only) Fridge has lost some shelving, shelf in kitchen cupboard support missing so showered with spare light bulbs when it tilted. Only small problems, It is clean and we would hire this property again if we were going to this area.

Ideally located within an area of outstanding beauty, this district is perfect for walking and cycling the renowned Dalby Forest trails. The picturesque village of Scalby lies just 2.5 miles from the seaside resort of Scarborough. The village centre, with its stone cottages and Victorian houses, boasts good facilities, with a pub, two local shops, a quaint tea room, a hairdressers and a beauty salon. Surrounded by rolling hills and beautiful countryside, with thousands of hectares of moors and forest, it makes the perfect place to stay, with numerous public footpaths and the well-known Scalby Beck, which winds its way to the coast. A weekly farmers market is held in the grounds of St. Lawrence’s Church Rooms, selling local produce. With Scarborough on the doorstep, with its fine, sandy beaches, good restaurants and bustling town centre, Scalby provides a lovely retreat after a busy day out!
