“1) Large, dried urine stains to mattress topper - disgusting and inexcusable 2) Freezer compartment solid with ice - had to chip ice out to get a couple of items in.”

Then gave up! 3) Door key kept jamming in lock. At one time, couldn't get in and there was no emergency contact number on key safe 4) Parking a major issue - we were warned in listing but didn't think it was going to be that bad! 5) A lot of dust in study - particularly on light base. Obviously hadn't been dusted for a long period of time 6) Small issue but some of the plates were chipped 7) Only one refuse bag was left out All in all, a pretty miserable experience and we left early

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback and we are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay. We have checked with our Whitby Manager, who is on hand to deal with any issues guests encounter during their stay and who’s number is displayed in the cottage - she says she didn’t receive any contact from you during your stay and, had she done so, would have been more than happy to attend and sort out any issues. She also confirmed the mattress topper was changed on the last clean and no urine stains were visible. Parking is challenging in Whitby during the peak Summer month. We pay to provide our guests with a free parking option in Zone W, but if no spaces were available, there are in addition numerous pay and display options around the town. Property Owner
