    “Disappointed stay at sunset view.”

In comparison to stay at number 18 union mill. The cleanliness was lacking. But the main reason was the beds. The small room had a small double bed and also a clothes rail and a set of drawers making the room feel very overcrowded no room to move. The bed was like a trampoline so springy. The large room with no wardrobe didn’t understand why had 2 singles which could have been used as a super king had they bothered to do that. They were also very uncomfortable beds. So no decent night ...

So no decent night sleep for the whole week. The heating system is a joke. It comes on when not needed earlier hours of the morning and when it’s colder evening no heat. To use a loud fan right at the side of the TV is not good enough. You could not override the heating so again cold most evenings. The water was also a problem especially if you wanted a bath not enough water in the evening. Nice size bath but not even a quarter full when the water was cold. The extractor did not work and had been mentioned by a previous guest. The remote for windows never worked from day one. No batteries for anything that needed them eg ornamental candles. So many things overlooked . Also the last three guest received a welcome pack which we didn’t. It is not essential but should not be given to some and not others just don’t do it for all. The information for anything not working or missing recommend that you contact the office we would have been phoning every day which is not what we want to do on holiday. Better preparation and more importantly better service from the owner would have been nice. Altogether a ruined holiday experience.
