Traditional three bedroom cottage, newly renovated with stunning views towards the harbour and Whitby Abbey, great central location near the shops, restaurants, bars and cafés, just a short stroll to the harbour and beach. This aptly named cottage is recently refurbished and has stunning views of the harbour, sea and across to the old town, including the iconic Whitby Abbey. With a small terrace and garden to the front, plus a courtyard to the rear.

Ground Floor
On the ground floor is an entrance hall, cloaks/WC, and sitting room with flat screen TV & DVD player, charming dining room and a gorgeous, newly installed and well-equipped kitchen with oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and utility area.
First Floor
On the first floor are three bedrooms – two doubles, with fabulous views - one of which has an en-suite shower room, a bedroom with bunk beds and a shower room with WC and wash basin.
With a small garden and terrace to the front. To the rear is a delightful enclosed courtyard with a seating area for you to enjoy breakfast or a nightcap under the stars.




Paradise View is situated off of Cliff Street in the West Cliff area of Whitby and boasts lovely Abbey and harbour views and is only five minutes walk away from the historic town centre.

Access to Paradise View is from the rear car parking area. There are around fifty steps up to the front gate and they are around 1M wide. There is a handrail on the right of the steps. Paradise View is the first house on the right at the top of the steps. There is also access from Cliff Street, through Bakehouse Yard taking the third gate on the right.

The front garden is paved and has seating. The front door has two steps up to it. The door is 76cm wide and the lever handle is at 102cm.

The entrance hall has coir matting and then changes to hardwood flooring. This flooring runs throughout the whole of the ground floor. There is a door from the entrance hall that leads to a downstairs cloakroom. The door is 65cm wide and the lever handle is at 90cm. The room contains a WC and basin.

A door leads from the entrance hall to the open plan lounge diner and kitchen area. The door is 80cm wide and the door knob is at 78cm. The dining area contains a table with six chairs and a side unit. The space around the table narrows to around 60 cm on one side but is around 1M on the other side. The kitchen worktop is at 94cm and the kitchen has some built in appliances. There is an electric oven, a gas hob, an electric extractor. There are also freestanding appliances. These are a dishwasher, a washing machine and a fridge freezer.

The back door leads from the kitchen to the rear garden. The door is 68cm wide, has a lever handle at 103cm and a 15cm step down into the garden. The rear garden has a solid and level concrete floor and also provides a side access around the house.

The lounge has a large corner sofa that can seat five people and further chairs for three people. The lounge also contains a TV unit, two side tables and a central rug.

The stairs to the first floor are accessed from the lounge. There are eight stairs at 60cm wide leading up to a half landing and then five stairs at 85cm wide. There is a handrail at 85cm.

The stairs and the bedrooms are all carpeted. The two bathrooms have laminate flooring.

The master bedroom has a door that is 67cm wide and has a lever handle at 105cm. The spaces around the king size bed are 70cm to the left, 140cm to the right and 50cm at the bottom. The mattress height is 50cm. This bedroom also has a small table and single chair, along with hanging space.

The master bedroom en suite shower room has a door that is 65cm wide and has a lever handle at 106cm. The room contains a WC, a basin and a shower enclosure. The enclosure has a 5cm step and a 39cm wide doorway.

There is a locked storage cupboard off the hallway.

The main shower room has a door that is 65cm wide and a lever handle at 108cm. The room contains a WC, a basin and a shower enclosure. The shower has a 10cm step and a 60cm doorway.

The double bedroom has a 66cm wide door and a lever handle at 106cm. The mattress height is 55cm. The spaces around the double bed are 70cm to the left, 80cm to the right and 40cm at the bottom. The room also contains two bedside tables, hanging space and a small table and chair.

The twin bedroom has a door that is 65cm wide and a lever handle at 105cm. The room has bunk beds with mattress heights of 50cm and 130cm. There is a space to the side of the beds that is 80cm wide. The room also contains a double wardrobe, a chest of drawers, a side table and a single chair.
