Ground Floor
Enter this charming cottage via a covered exterior walk-way and porch into a hallway. This leads to a lovely, large kitchen, which is very well equipped, and has a table and chairs to sit and relax over meals whilst keeping cook company! There is also a sofa and TV to sit and relax. The kitchen has French doors leading to a wonderful, large terrace - which is a sun trap! - with views across the harbour and over to the old town, with the iconic Whitby Abbey on the clifftop. It's a perfect spot to enjoy meals or drinks together in the lovely sea air or just sit back and sunbathe.
First Floor
On the first floor is a beautiful sitting room with quality, comfortable sofas, flat screen TV, again with spectacular sea, harbour and Abbey Views.

There is a pretty twin bedroom in sea-inspired shades of blue with single beds, bedside table and hanging space. Again, you can look out over the harbour and across to the old town.

This floor also has a luxury house bathroom, fully tiled in Travertine marble, with a bath, shower over, WC and hand wash basin.
Second Floor
On the second floor are two more lovely bedrooms - both with amazing views.

There is a superb master bedroom with a king size bed with bedside tables and lamps if you like to read before lights out. A dressing table and mirror and built-in wardrobes.

There is an elegant, small double bedroom, with bedside table, dressing table and wardrobe.

A stylish luxury shower room, fully tiled in Travertine marble, comprises shower, WC and hand wash basin completes this floor.
As mentioned, this lovely cottage boasts a wonderful large terrace with a table and chairs, with stunning views over the to the Abbey and harbour - an idyllic spot to just to sit, relax and enjoy the view, winding down to the sound of seagulls and the eternal view across to Whitby's quaint old town maybe planning a day on the beach, sightseeing or visiting one of Whitby's many restaurants, either for our renowned fish and chips or trying one of the award-winning restaurants. That's what holidays are all about.




Peck's Cottage is situated in a superb central location, off of Cliff Street in the West Cliff area of Whitby with lovely Abbey and harbour views, only five minutes' walk away from the historic town centre.

Entry to Pecks Cottage is via Pecks Yard, off Cliff Street, through an 82cm wide gate. There is a 15cm step into the yard. The cottage is at the end of the passage. The front door is 72cm wide, has a lever handle at 105cm and a 5cm bottom threshold.

The house has central heating and radiators throughout.

The entrance hall has hard wood flooring and leads through a 72cm wide door, with a lever handle at 103cm into the kitchen diner. There is an 18cm step down into the room. The kitchen diner has hard wood flooring and a seating area at one end with a TV and Sky box. The dining table is in the centre of the room and has seats for six people. The space around the table narrows to 90cm at one side. The kitchen worktop height is 91cm and the kitchen has built in appliances. These include an electric oven, a gas hob, an electric extractor, a dishwasher, a washing machine and fridge freezer.

There are double doors that lead to the rear patio. The doors when open are 160cm wide and the lever handles are 103cm high. There are seven steps down to the paved patio area that has a table and seating. There are around fifty steps down from the patio area and this provides access to the harbour area.

The stairs to the first floor are 80cm wide and has a handrail at 97cm. There are eleven stairs to the first floor. The stairs and the rest of the rooms have carpet apart from the two bathrooms.

The lounge door is 72cm wide and the lever handle is at 92cm. The room has a large sofa, two armchairs, a coffee table, a side table and a TV unit.

A door from the lounge leads to the twin bedroom. The door is 72cm wide and the lever handle is at 90cm. The room has two single beds with a mattress height of 60cm. The space to the sides of the bed is 110cm. The room also contains hanging space, a bedside table and a chair.

The lounge leads through a door to the first floor bathroom and stairs up to the second floor. The door is 69cm wide and has a lever handle at 88cm.

The door to the bathroom is 63cm wide and the lever handle is at 92cm. The room has tiles on the floor. The room contains a bath with a shower over it and a screen, along with a WC and a basin.

The stairs up to the second floor are 80cm wide and the handrail is at 98cm. There are fourteen stairs up to the second floor.

The shower room door is 66cm wide and the lever handle is at 92cm. The floor is tiled. The room contains a WC, a basin and a shower enclosure. There is a 5cm step into the enclosure and a 35cm wide doorway.

The door to the double bedroom is 72cm wide and the lever handle is at 90cm. The small double bed has a mattress height of 60cm. The spaces around the bed are 40cm on the left, 45cm on the right and 40 cm at the bottom. The room also has two bedside tables, a built in wardrobe and a small dressing table and chair.

The door to the master bedroom is 72cm wide and the lever handle is at 90cm. The king size bed has a mattress height of 60cm. The spaces around the bed are 50cm to the left, 115cm to the right and 65cm at the bottom. The room also contains a built in wardrobe, two bedside tables and a dressing table and chair.
