“A gem of a property, right in the middle of Whitby, on the quieter side of the river.”

This property has been designed to a hight and tasteful standard. Spacious bedrooms, very comfortable firm beds (much more to my level of comfort) , a warm and welcome living area and a fantastic rainfall shower. The internet was superb, you could even retreat to 5 Ivy Yard and work there comfortable. Like all rentals you find some quirks, the only gripe we had was some of the light bulbs in one of the ceiling lights didn’t work, there weren’t any spare bin bags and an empty roll of foil ...

The internet was superb, you could even retreat to 5 Ivy Yard and work there comfortable. Like all rentals you find some quirks, the only gripe we had was some of the light bulbs in one of the ceiling lights didn’t work, there weren’t any spare bin bags and an empty roll of foil left in the drawer. The property was very clean and tidy upon entering. I would say to the owner or cleaners, please double check cutlery and plates that guests have cleaned, there were some questionable ‘cleaned’ items but know this isn’t reflected on the owner or cleaners. There is no parking on the property, but on 3/4 of the road there is free parking on Church Street but it’s a free for all and very popular. We had no issues but at peak times it would be difficult. Further up, getting closer to Whitby there is 40 mins free parking restrictions or a small pay and display car park.
