Gary “A lovely apartment close to walking routes, bus routes and Whitby centre.”
We found the apartment clean and comfortable with everything considered. The welcome park was generous and extremely well received, thank you. The added touch of the Halloween decorations was lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed walking the Cinder trail and visiting Robin Hood's Bay and Staithes and would recommend all three.

Jayne “A very comfortable apartment in a great location.”
Only a 20 minute walk into the town centre. A brilliant bus service along the coast. Lots of lovely walks from Whitby. The Cinder Track is a 5 minute walk away. Will stay again.
- Jayne, September 2023David “A nice modern building with onsite parking situated in a quite Cul De Sac only a short ten minute walk into Whitby with the advantage being near a bus route at the top of the road.”
Couldn't fault the accomdation as it had everything you needed plus a nice welcome pack and milk in the fridge alongside a very helpful a folder with best place to eat and visit. Would and have recommend to my friends and would certainly book Rosemount apartment. Yorkshire Coastal Cottages were great to deal with, even called the day after we got there to check if everthing was ok, will definitely use them again. David and Denise
- David, September 2023Darren “A great spot to base yourself around Whitby, just far enough out the centre to be peaceful but only a 20 min walk in.”
Lots of options within a 1/2hr drive, particularly Sneaton castle for real fine dining and relaxing. The apartment had all that was needed for a basic stay but all in excellent order. For the future if a longer stay dishwasher good, slightly longer sofa and shower fixing a bit droopy! But none of this detracted from an excellent stay.
- Darren, July 2023Robert “Apartment was clean and exactly as described.”
Location was good for travelling in to Whitby. Welcome pack which included tea, coffee, milk and biscuits was a really nice touch. Great facilities which included washing machine, iron and hair dryer. Sofas were very small and uncomfortable to sit on which was a shame. Couldn’t flush toilet at night due to excessive noise from pipes. Owner having hedges cut with a petrol chainsaw at 8am not a great idea if you want a lie in or a quiet breakfast. Overall the apartment was very nice and reasonably priced. Apart from the small niggles a great place to stay.
- Robert, July 2023Morgan “We had a great stay here for 4 nights.”
Apartment was very clean & as described in the listing. My daughter loved the Halloween decorations & sweeties
- Morgan, October 2022Lynn “The property was lovely and very comfortable.”
It had all home comforts and was in a quiet residential area. We were welcomed with a lovely basket of goodies on our arrival
- Lynn, October 2022John “There isn't one negative thing I can think of about the apartment and its location, it was perfect, very clean and comfortable, and the welcome pack was very much appreciated.”
For anyone who likes walking, the start of The Cinder Track, a disused railway track converted to a walking and cycle path, is less than a five minute walk from the apartment and an easy six and a half mile walk along it will take you to Robin Hoods Bay. There are also plenty of other footpaths that will take you almost anywhere you want to go. I can wholeheartedly recommend Rosemount Apartment to anyone thinking of holidaying in Whitby.
- John, July 2022Louise “Had a lovely stay and loved the extra special touches like jubilee bunting and the welcome pack.”
Would definitely look to stay again.
- Louise, May 2022Danielle “Lovely apartment!”
Had a fantastic stay, everything we needed was there. Beds were super comfy and we both slept really well. A few nice little touches, and my daughter loved the sweets and hallowe’en decorations. She also loved the board games and I think we had to play all of them! My only suggestions would be a coat rack and something to put muddy boots on would be good. Apart from that, everything was perfect! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- Danielle, October 2021Patricia “Highly recommended.”
Would definitely book again.
