Firstly the positives.
Extremely comfortable sofa and beds and the downstairs with its wonderful views and open plan was exactly what we wanted. The 3rd bedroom had an extremely bright red carpet which is very stained and the bath as others have pointed out is very challenging to get in and out of, the biggest issue was the smell in the bathroom which after a few days we worked out was the smell of weed! someone on the neighbourhood clearly smokes this on a regular basis and as we had the window open when showering the smell was overpowering and very unpleasant. The other downside is the location. I didn’t have any issues with the steps but if you access the property any other way you have to walk though the neighbours very untidy yard, ducking under a washing line and stepping over rubbish. The access via steps is also past some quite untidy properties. I know the owners can’t really do anything about the neighbours but this did detract from our enjoyment.
Best property we have ever rented.
Clean and lovely. Excellent location. It is up the hill but manageable. Those with mobility issues will struggle. Amazing views from windows overlooking the harbour day and night. Comfortable and homely. No issues at all.
Overall .
. . very happy with our stay at Wobble Pops. A lovely space for us all. Very clean and a wonderful west facing view from the lounge. My only observations and criticisms are: The coloured bins were locked for recycling and no key provided. The only (Black) bin that was available had was said to be collected on Thursdays but there was no instruction as where to put it for said collection. The property is in a maze of paths and rather difficult to find. Better signage on the gate and bottom of the path would be a good idea. The bath is very high to step in and out of. I would recommend that a handrail be installed for use by everyone but particularly the young, elderly, and anyone with any kind of mobility issue. Overall very please and would highly recommend staying here.
