Kinder Spa is a characterful, timber-clad lodge nestled on Woodland Lakes Holiday Park near Thirsk, Yorkshire.

With an on-site car park and EV charging, it’s a practical base for families or friends looking to explore the surrounding landscape.

Step inside and you’ll find a single-storey space that draws you in with its open-plan layout.

Spend an evening gathered around the Smart TV, which comes equipped with USB ports for easy viewing.

The kitchen, tucked neatly to one side, is ready for action, fitted with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, grill, fridge-freezer, kettle, and toaster.

Whether it’s a quick breakfast or a hearty supper, everything you need is within reach.

Meals become moments at the dining table, where conversation flows as easily as the wine.

Two bedrooms await, one double and one with a bunk bed, offering a practical setup for both grown-ups and little ones.

Outside, the enclosed decking invites you to pause and take in the quiet.

Northallerton 8.6 miles; North York Moors National Park 5 miles; York 23.7 miles.

With the gateway to the North York Moors National Park to the east and Yorkshire Dales National Park to the west, the bustling town of Thirsk boasts a quaint market place, splendid Georgian buildings, and a Norman church. Here there are a selection of excellent pubs, restaurants, a cinema and a leisure centre, as well as independent stores to be browsed at your leisure. Visit the World of James Herriott Museum, dedicated to the life and works of the town’s own famous vet and author or explore the surrounding rolling countryside and Hambleton Hills, offering excellent walking and cycling opportunities. The town is home to the Yorkshire Vet, All Creatures Great and Small, and Thirsk Races, and there are an abundance of local walks throughout the local area, including those at Osmotherly, the Cleveland Way, and Sutton Bank.
