Routhorpe House

We stayed for 2 nights for a friends 40th birthday.

There was 10 adults. The house is beautiful very spacious and spotless! The owner was lovely, had great communication and very helpful. It’s not a close walk to anywhere specific but there is lots of walks to do, but also only 10 min drive to the local town. It’s such a peaceful area, we will definitely be booking again!

The property is fantastic and great to use as a base for visiting other places , the house had everything that we needed.

Driffield is the best Market Town we have visited in Yorkshire so far. The 3 children on our party thought the grounds and hot tub were amazing. They all voted unanimously to go back next year and we have already booked it.

Perfect weekend getaway!

Beautiful, fully stocked house! Comfy beds, clean and beautiful garden with hot tub! Owners on site were there to help when we needed help with the ice machine and BBQ. Would 100% recommend and will stay again!

We had a great time celebrating a 30th birthday.

This house had everything that you would need - fully equipped kitchen, washer, dryer, dishwasher, wide range of saucepans and crockery and instructions for everything. Beds were comfy and everything was clean. Communication with owner was great. A beautiful house and lovely gardens. Would definitely book again.

We absolutely loved our stay here.

There was everything you needed there. Comfy, war, clean and certainly homely. The only downfall was the chemicals in the hot tub, which we think were too strong and unfortunately bleached ones bikini and damaged the colour of a pandora bracelet. We have hot tubs ourselves, and never had this issue with bleaching or discolouration of jewellery. But bar that, an absolute brilliant house!!!

Perfect house for a weekend with friends!

Had everything we needed, easy check in/check out. Beautiful rooms and great open kitchen/diner space for socialising. Would recommended!

It was a beautiful house with everything there that you could wish for.

The gardens were immaculate and the children loved playing on the play equipment. The hot tub was serviced regularly by Carl the owner and he couldn’t do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We would have no hesitation in recommending this house.

A lovely property, furnished to high standard and very comfortable.

Well supplied kitchen including an air fryer which we found very useful for making breakfast instead of using the hob/ovens. Also found the "Alexa" device in dining area of kitchen useful. Large utility room with separate washing machines and dryer and handy sink. Loved the lounge area which was homely with the flame effect modern fire. Didn't use the large outdoor spa but it is kept super clean. Good showers and plenty of hot water and towels. Apart from master en-suite we found the wash basins a little too small in the other bedroom en-suites otherwise can't fault this fantastic accommodation. We would definitely recommend this property and don't be put off by the busy road as you don't hear it inside the house. We had no issues whilst we were there.

A wonderful home away from home for an all age family gathering.

The kitchen diner is a great space to socialise whilst preparing meals and certain members of the family made full use of the many SMART tv's (winter olympics!). We would highly recommend.

This beautiful holiday accommodation has it all.

Space, comfort, class, peace and fun too. There's hardly anything that hasn't been thought of. You are sure to leave feeling rejuvenated.

We had an amazing family celebration at Routhorpe House.

It's a gorgeous property, extremely spacious, spotlessly clean, the decore everywhere very tasteful and decorated for Christmas made it extra special. The open plan area works perfectly for a family celebration, and the hot tub an added luxury and fun, making our special family celebration perfect. The views of the sunset and sunrise were wonderful. Communication from Carl, the host was excellent. I would highly recommend and would love to return. Thank you Julie

Fabulous house with everything you could need for a family break.

Comfortable, clean and very well equipped. The owners have done a great job in creating a home from home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A great place for family and friends meet up. The house is beautiful - great selection of cooking utensils. We also used the booking the prepped food service - delicious foods. We met Carl the owner, could not offer to do enough for us. Recommend 'Heartbeat' the original village on the TV series. just one hour away. Certainly recommend.

The beautiful house was clean, spacious, comfortable and had everything you need.

Communication was brilliant. Will definitely be back next year.

Lovely property it as everything you need very clean we had plenty of room for 10 of us.

The surroundings are lovely and the house is close to the coast the local pub the star inn does a lovely Sunday roast I’d definitely would recommend this house to anyone had a great weekend.

Our stay at Routhorpe House was everything I’d hoped for.

Everything was just as shown in the pictures, really easy check in process and easy to find, the house itself was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. All guests were very impressed. The hottub was well maintained and was nice to use even in the colder weather. The bottles of Prosecco left for arrival were very thoughtful, thank you. We will definitely come back when we have another chance.

Would like to thank Karl for his immediate response to a couple of minor issues which he quickly resolved for us.

We had a lovely 2 week holiday in this lovely property which provided everything we needed. Hot tub maintained regularly during our stay and welcome pack was a lovely touch. Thanks again.

We’ve just had a fantastic week at Routhorpe House.

We are a family of 10, 3 generations including younger kids & teenagers, & this house was perfect for us. The location is great for trips to the East coast, Driffield and Beverley. We also spent quite a lot of time at the property, it’s got everything you could need- the large gardens are fab with plenty of seating & garden games, big gas BBQ (with a full gas bottle), hot tub, gorgeous well equipped kitchen that opens out onto the garden, all bedrooms really comfy, multiple bathrooms were welcome - the whole place was spotless. We all want to go again!

We recently stayed here for our hen do and had a lovely weekend.

The house was easy to find and very clean and comfortable. They even left a few bottles of prosecco for us, which were definitely enjoyed. The hot tub was clean and then after use a man came to clean it in the morning again. We spent a lot of time outside with the good weather and there is lots of space, perfect for a big group or large family. Thank you for having us.

Couldn’t recommend staying here enough!

Stunning house that looks even better in real life. Immaculately clean with everything you need. The outdoor area with the bench and grass is beautiful in the nice weather. Fantastic stay.

Excellent, modern accommodation.

Had everything we needed, incl a lovely garden, hot tub and play equipment for kids. In a good location to visit the local attractions/areas of interest. There were 10 of us but didn’t feel under each other’s feet. The bedroom were of a good size, as was the kitchen/dining area. Would happily recommend.

We have just returned from a wonderful weekend stay at Routhorpe House to celebrate my partners 40th Birthday.

Perfect house, fab location. Everything provided you can need. The house is well looked after as is the spectacular garden and hot tub. Lots of games for the kids, who have had the best time. Highly recommend. This house is a great find and great value for money.

The facilities were lovely.

We enjoyed the hot tub, which was regularly maintained. The ice maker was well used. Everything you could need is there. The kitchen was a good size for everyone gathering together and spilling outside, garden was a good size and plenty of parking The Prosecco and cake for our joint birthday celebrations was a lovely touch and appreciated. Sandra had been helpful in answering our questions before our trip and we chatted to Carl on his visits to maintain the hot tub.

Our stay at this property was excellent .

Ten close friends each year spending a weekend away in carefully chosen surroundings . Routhorpe House is perfect for this . It's also in a lovely part of the country Carl & Craig are great hosts , Carl was on hand to deal with a couple of minor queries as he came to maintain the hot tub during our stay . The curry we purchased in advance was ready in the fridge on our arrival and was well received . A perfect accompaniment for our murder mystery evening . I would recommend this property to anyone and would not hesitate to book the property in the future . Communication with the hosts was second to none . The house we found to be spotlessly clean , don't get me wrong , it's a well used house but it's kitted out with quality furnishings and appliances . Thanks again ..

The house was certainly 5 star it was beautiful .

Had everything you could possibly need for a 5 star stay . Very clean and modern . The owners are certainly very caring to ensure you have the best stay . The hot tub is maintained daily . Very comfortable beds . Well appointed bedrooms . Kitchen and utility room with everything you could need . Comfortable clean sofas . We will certainly return . Lots of parking .

Fabulous stay nice and spacious.

Showers are difficult to regulate as the water is extremely hot. Otherwise spot on, very enjoyable stay for our large party of ten.

Fabulous time, house absolutely beautiful.

Everything we could possibly need, brilliant communication with the owners. Perfect for our family 6 adults and 4 young children. Hoping to revisit next year Heather

Routhorpe House lived up to our expectations.

Photographs clearly represent the house. It was beautifully clean and well equipped in every room. We would highly recommend.

The house was great!

Spacious, well equipped, clean. Communication was excellent, we would definitely stay again.

Routhorpe House is a fabulous holiday home.

We were there last weekend with friends and the house definitely lived up to our expectations. It is very spacious and comfortable with quality furnishings and the kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need, The beautiful Christmas decorations made the house feel really festive. A great place to visit

Fantastic property finished to a very high spec.

House was very clean and had everything we needed re kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. Lots of space. Owners contacted us beforehand to see if they could help in any way, they reconfigured some beds for us before arrival and were available to answer a couple of questions. Booked again!!!!

Fantastic property, very well equipped and clean.

Loved the hot tub and lighting in the kitchen/dining room! Kids loved the swings and great selection of outdoor games. Many thanks.

We had a most enjoyable week in Routhorpe.

The house was spacious and very comfortable. Carl and Kevin, the owners were kind and most helpful. Unable to walk the wolds as much as we hoped, we loved our visits to Kirkburn Church, Beverley Minster and Burton Agnes. One small misleading description on the website - the groundfloor bedroom is not en-suite as the bathroom is outside and is shared by the other groundfloor bedroom. We shall certainly recommend Routhorpe to our friends.

Fantastic house for my husbands 50 th birthday, lovely area, the owners communication was amazing

Great stay, thank you

Property is perfect for a large family.

Lots to do around the area. We would highly recommend

A couple of issues that we would like to report: 1.

The bedroom near the front room on the ground floor (i.e. not the one by laundry room) has a damp smells. My daughter and husband, who were using this room, had to buy a fragrant spray to combat the smell. 2. The water in the property is extremely hot and that is a good thing if the mixers in the taps work effectively. Unfortunately, that was not the case in the shower outside my daughter's room. She and her husband had to use different showers and they could not let their 7 year old son and 4 year old daughter use that shower. Every other shower/bath/sink worked fine.

A Stunning 'Home-from-Home' in Beautiful Yorkshire Countryside!

We needed a house with 5 bedrooms and at least 2 en-suites, and found this gem just 5 miles from Driffield, the home of my oldest friend and her family. This is a truly outstanding house that has been so thoughtfully decorated and furnished, it feels just like a home. It is also the most well appointed house we have ever stayed in - we hosted a BBQ for our Driffield friends and there was enough cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils... even cake stands! The kitchen is better equipped than my own! The beds, sofas and even dining chairs are fabulously comfortable. There is enough space for everyone to be together in every room, but also enough different spaces for people to chill on their own or in smaller groups. The garden is stunning! So beautifully kept, lovely flowers and shrubs, and even a play area for our small visitors to play. Garden games and indoor games are provided, a hot tub for lazy afternoons and great social space for BBQs and gatherings. I can honestly say that I would buy this house tomorrow and not want to change a thing! I have never said that about a holiday let before, but it really is THAT special. The owners are SOOO helpful too, I would thoroughly recommend this gorgeous house.

House and facilities were excellent Garden was ideal for the grandkids.

Went for a chill out and certainly did that. Would highly recommend

Absolutely beautiful house.

Spacious and well equipped. The owners offer not only a fabulous stay but a brochure of extra treats , we opted for the in house chef and party pamper. Both were amazing. Our pamper lady was very patience and worked her magic on a bunch of stressful working mums. The in house chef Claire was wonderful and the food was delicious, the service first class. Would highly recommend using this service. This was our third year going away and our first time to Routhorpe Hall we certainly felt like we got it 100% right this time. There isn’t anything negative to say but to note you are just off a country road so expect the odd noise of a motorbike whizzing by. But when you’re facing fields and cows it’s very peaceful and tranquil.

We had a wonderful stay at Routhorpe House.

The house was well presented, spacious and clean. The welcome pack was very much appreciated, along with the complimentary toiletries. Carl, the owner, was friendly and extremely quick to respond to any queries. The kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of crockery, pans and glassware also acrylicware for outdoor use. The large garden was well presented and the hot-tub was an added bonus. I would fully recommend this property.

We stayed at Routhorpe house for my hen do.

Perfect from start to finish. Correspondence from the owner was spot on, I even received a courtesy call the day before we checked in to wish us a nice stay. Lovely touch. The house and grounds are just beautiful. Tastefully decorated, clean, brilliant little touches to cater for all your requirements. It has everything you could possibly need for a party, a family stay or friends reunion. Loved the Elemis shower gel after the jacuzzi . My hen do exceeded any of my expectations. It was beyond amazing ! Some of us have not seen each other for 25 years, to sit round the table with champagne and share our most treasured memories was so very special. Yoga in the garden and a top notch girls party till the early hours. This house catered for it all ! We are coming back for our reunion next year. Do not hesitate in booking this beautiful house for any event. Just please look after it and treat it with its deserved respect ! Thankyou so much Carl and team. This house is special ! Xx

We came to Rouththorpe House for my best friends Hen Party and we couldn’t have asked for me.

The house and setting are beautiful and perfectly maintained. Everything you need is provided for you here. We couldn’t have had a better time. Sandra & Carl were so helpful prior to arrival too. We all can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely amazing stay with group of girl friends!

Would definitely come back had everything we needed! We went into Beverly which was a 20 min drive but could have easily stayed at the house all weekend with the great edition of the hot tub!

We spent 4 days at Routhorpe House as a family party of 10 and had a wonderful time.

The house is very spacious and children made great use of the spa pool. All facilities were provided for cooking for 10 although we had a lovely breakfast one morning at the nearby 'quirky' Wolds Village.

Amazing Stay We stayed for the weekend for our Fathers 80th birthday.

What a fantastic house for us to get together they had thought of everything. The facilities were fantastic and the house itself was extremely clean and comfortable. The owners were so helpful and responded quickly to all our questions nothing was too much bother. I cannot recommend this house enough we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful Christmas break at Routhorpe House.

The house was decorated beautifully and we really appreciated the attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble and Carl was a very friendly and helpful host. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after our trips out and about. The town of Beverley is only a short drive away and well worth a visit as well as the many coastal areas. The kitchen is great with all appliances and equipment. We had no difficulties preparing Christmas dinner for 10! Thank you!

Fabulous few days spent at Routhorpe House.

House was beautiful, there is plenty of parking. The house has everything you need, kitchen/utility facilities excellent with so many utensils cups glasses bowls pans etc. Cleaning products provided, handsoap, dishwasher tablets, bin bags, kitchen towels everything you might need. The cleanliness of the house on arrival was great could not fault this at all, house smelt lovely. Love the fact that there are 4 bathrooms to 5 bedrooms and special touch elemis products in every bathroom. Due to the weather we did not get chance to use the outside areas but there is plenty of outside space. Lots of games/sports equipment available for those drier days. Great location and easy to get to, 40 or so mins from York so great for a day out. Plenty of local pubs nearby, ate at the star inn very friendly staff and beautiful food. So pleased with our stay that we immediately booked for next year! Thank you

Absolutely spectacular stay.

The house was lovely, modern, clean and had a warm family feeling. There were 10 of us with a new born baby, and every one of us including baby felt comfortable and relaxed especially with the jaccuzi. Sandra and Carl ensured requested arrangements were completed such as having our requested curry dinners ready on arrival. Which was delectable! We had a room with a king size bed swapped into a twin. We had massages booked for 8 people, and the massouse was truly amazing and prices were so reasonable!! We could not have asked for anything more! Highly recommend!!

Beautiful property in a lovely location.

Great communication from the property owners throughout our stay. Highly recommend for large group or family stays

Absolutely gorgeous property.

Facilities are fantastic in a lovely remote location so no worries about making to much noise! Rooms and beds an are comfortable and spacious. The owner was incredibly accommodating and was available for any questions I had prior to the day. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to book!

As a family, we loved everything about this property!

Lots of space inside and out . Lovely furnishings and comfy beds. Owners have thought of everything guests could possibly need and more. Carl was very helpful and responded quickly to any enquiries. In a lovely rural location within easy reach of coast and towns. Would highly recommend Routhorpe and will definitely return ourselves

Routhorpe House was a beautiful and very well maintained home.

It had all the amenities we wanted and more. The hot tub was a treat after trips out too. We enjoyed several amazing hampers that were made available to us, including Indian, breakfast, cheese and seafood hampers. The portions were very generous and good quality too. Would highly recommend the home for families. A big thank you to Carl, Craig and Sandra.

We’ve just come back from a wonderful week at Routhorpe house.

It is the most beautiful and well equipped house we have ever stayed in, and has everything you could possibly need for your holiday. Like previous reviews have stated, the kitchen is amazing and has the facilities/equipment to cook a 3 course meal if you so wish. The house was exceptionally clean and well looked after. A lovely welcome pack was provided, with Prosecco, milk, coffee pods, tea etc, a lovely touch and the Prosecco was a great way to start our week - thank you! I would definitely recommend this house to large families as you have plenty of space, inside and out. Carl was very welcoming and most helpful with any questions about the house/area. We look forward to returning in the future. Thanks again Claire

Lovely property, comfortably housing an extended family of 10 - beautiful well maintained gardens with plenty of kids activities available.

Only downside is that it's on quite a busy/loud road.

Thanks both for such a fantastic holiday and for our little treats!

The house is amazing, so beautiful and perfect for a week away. This was my second time staying and I will certainly be back next year. Owners are fantastic, extremely kind and helpful, cannot thank them enough.

So much thought has been put into this property, they have thought of everything, you could cook anything from a full 3 course meal to a cake all the equipment is there and more, there's even a cool box for a picnic.

There are hairdryers plus plenty of fans in each room. The sound proofing is great as although it's on a busy road once inside you would never know as you cannot hear a thing. Communication from Carl was brilliant, we had no problems whilst there but he still got in touch just to update us about the gardener etc and we felt that he would of been on hand had we needed anything. We got intouch with him beforehand regarding certain allergies and he was so obliging and everything had been sorted prior to our arrival. There are plenty of games books dvds should you want them. Plus outside is beautiful with swingball, badminton and croquet. There is so much to do in york and all the surrounding areas and Whitby was a very pleasant surprise. What a stunning beach. We had a great stay, its a beautiful property which we didn't spend enough time in because of all things to do and see. We would not hesitate to return again.

We have just come back from Routhorpe House for our fabulous friends 40th birthday celebrations.

Routhorpe House is beautiful. The location is perfect for Bridlington which we visited whilst we were there. The weather has been perfect too so were able to enjoy the grounds and the hot tub. Carl was really accommodating and always on hand to answer any questions we had with a quick response. We were also left a couple of chilled bottles of prosecco and complimentary tea and coffee which was a nice touch. My only criticism was we could have done with more bin liners as we were a large group but apart from that i could not fault the time we had a Routhorpe House. Will definitely recommend and definitely return.

Thanks for an excellent few days.

The property was immaculately well maintained and you could not have been more friendly & helpful. No hesitation in recommending

The property was absolutely beautiful and perfect.

We could not fault it. We had everything we needed and more. We loved that there was plenty of space outside for the kids to play. We used the badminton court. The kids loved the slide and swings. We had an amazing family holiday. We had days out in Bridlington, York and also took the kids to Flamingo Land. The owner was so friendly and really helpful. We did not want our time there to end and we hope to come back again.

Lovely weekend at Routhorpe House.

The host was very accommodating and we couldn’t have asked for anymore, would definitely recommend, a beautiful house!

Routhorpe House sits in a beautiful spot, close enough to the sea and yet quiet enough in the countryside.

We were 3 generations travelling for a 60th birthday celebration and chose the house due to the reviews, pictures and its proximity to things we love - Flamborough and Bridlington. The house served us well and had all the crockery and glasses you could need. The 2x bottles of prosecco were well received and the useful items of coffee, teabags, sugar and dish washer tablets. The lack of a communal toilet downstairs was a little inconvenient and the garden was not as neat as i had expected - but i know it was early in the season for gardening! (Please don't take this too personal Carl - your home is wonderful but i feel compelled to critique - since our aim was to have a garden party but rain decided otherwise!) The host was accessible to all queries and feedback. We recommend the Georgian Tea Rooms for Afternoon Tea in Bridlington Old Town and the Seabirds in Flamborough for Sunday Dinner. Both very reasonably priced and great quality food. Do we recommend - yes Will we be back - yes.

Fantastic cottage with everything and more.

Spotless clean with all the amenities you can imagine - lovely quiet area and a gorgeous view to wake up to. Would highly recommend.

A beautifully appointed and spacious house, lived up to expectations.

In fact surpassed! So much space both indoors and out made for a relaxed multi-family stay. Well equipped with attention to detail in all respects. Highly recommended.

We had a fabulous time.

Absolutely everything we needed in the house. The host was extremely helpful and the house was wonderful. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay at Routhorpe house with friends over New Year’s Eve.

The stay was everything we expected and more, very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need, bedrooms very comfortable and smart TVs handy and easy to use.

21-28 November 2022 .

.an exceptiomally luxurious, peaceful retreat for even the most stressed guests! Booked for a family break (and my 71st birthday!) it was the perfect base to relax, explore and just spend quality time together after a very long and difficult period of national crisis - Covid - lockdowns, overwork, illness and loss. Three family members are emergency front-line workers in desperate need of a break and the opportunity to count our blessings and refocus on the importance of family time... The house was amazing! Spacious, tasteful - offering every comfort and so well-equipped! The hot tub was a very welcome source of relaxation for the younger members who were impervious to the freezing temperatures! They were content to enjoy its warmth to wind down whilst making plans for their future as (newish) parents to adorable baby son, Jaxon. Wishes and dreams forged whilst observing a star-filled sky and sipping mulled wine...bliss! The kitchen was a big hit (with Officer Ben, who rather fancies himself as a chef when not chasing baddies! He is a great cook and makes wonderful cakes...he was mightily impressed by the equipment and layout - especially the snug area, so handy when cooking and entertaining. As for the 'light show' - baby Jaxon was mesmerised by the coloured, flashing lights...Disco Central - their own mundane kitchen 'spots' will seem very dull indeed when they return! Opportunities to visit wonderful York, Bridlington, Driffield and Beverley...all packed into a relatively short time - a week was not long enough! York was the best, as expected. The Shambles, Minster, restaurants...the warmth of the local people, so welcoming and kind. The weather was a little patchy with a number of downpours - but sunshine broke through most days and lifted the whole experience. It must be Heaven in warmer months when the extensive grounds can be fully used and appreciated. We had a couple of lovely dinners at the "The Star Inn" just a couple of miles away in nearby North Dalton...very reasonable prices, wholesome and plentiful food - a log fire and a duck pond! Must be so nice in the summer... Thank you Carl...you made us so welcome, ensuring we were comfortable - and provided a wealth of advice and local info on where to go and how to get there! So all in all, a wonderful visit to a gorgeous house in a beautiful part of the country with something for everyone - restaurants, bars, shopping, history, warm and welcoming people...what's not to love. We thoroughly recommend it to anyone who appreciates and respects a lovely, top quality, well equipped home. We will certainly return when the weather is kinder - with no thermals required! The Roberts (2) / Dunne (1) / Adams Family (3)

We had the most amazing weekend whilst staying at Routhorpe House.

The house is out of this world. Carl and his team have thought of everything to provide everyone with the best experience. The cleanliness was spotless and the comfort of the beds were sooooo good! 100% booking to stay at Routhorpe House again.

Super house with lovely facilities.

Especially enjoyed the hot tub. The provision of glasses, crockery etc was exceptional. The supply of towels both quantity and quality was much appreciated. There were eight of us and we were able to make full use of the equipment provided. Carl was very attentive and dealt with all our queries immediately.

Fabulous property, would thoroughly recommend.

We had lovely weather when we stayed, it would have been nice if there had been some chairs to sit on outside.

The benches are not suitable for enjoying the sun. Also a very noisy road outside which is like that all day and most of the night. Apart from that the accommodation was well fitted out and the beds really comfy.

Excellent house.

Everything is provided. was beyond expectations. Great owner - available for any questions and nothing is too much. thankyou carl

An extended family holiday after three years and Routhorpe house was perfect for us!

Plenty of space, super clean, great for family dinners. The garden is private and has everything you can hope for. We had amazing day trips to Flamborough head, Filey beach and Scarborough beach. The only suggestion I can give is maybe fans/air con the house for the warmer days of the year.

We all loved our stay at this beautiful, spacious house for a family birthday celebration.

The house felt very luxurious, was clean and comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. The hot tub and barbecue were particular favourites. The owners Carl and Craig were also very friendly and helpful and we really appreciated the bottle of fizz on arrival!

Absolutely perfect!

Couldn't have asked for better. We went for a 40th birthday and the owner and Sandra made it so easy for us as they were able to arrange all the little extras I wanted. Would 100% recommended and would definitely return in a heartbeat.

Routhorpe House is a beautiful place for a holiday.

Modern and tastefully decorated it had all the facilities my family could have wanted and more. It’s set in a gorgeous location and is easily accessible to a number of places. We visited Driffield, York, Beverley and Scarborough and had a wonderful time. My mother is in a wheelchair and we had children with us. It can be difficult to find somewhere that really works for us all but here definitely did and we hope to return again.

Amazing property that is finished to a high standard and excellent throughout.

There is everything you need and the property is in a quiet location, perfect for a getaway. I was visiting in a group of 10 for my 40th birthday and we could not have asked for more! The hot tub was amazing and the beds were extremely comfortable. Hopefully we’ll be visiting again.

Wonderful holiday in secluded surroundings.

Was lovely waking up to fields and cows in the distance. Very private with lots of space. Facilities were very good. Thank you for a great weekend.

We have just come back from a four night stay at Routhorpe house.

We have booked through Sykes plenty of times but we have never had a more of a pleasant experience than Routhorpe house. Carl the owner was just a text away from ensuring we had everything and asked if we needed anything during our stay. The house was spotless, comfortable beds, and plenty of facilities. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you, Amie.

The house had every amenity that we could have possibly needed, the location was perfect and the house was decorated and kept to a very high standard.

The owner Carl was so helpful and on hand if needed him at any point. Would 100% recommend this house, we loved it!

Amazing property, facilities and the overall finish and feel of the property is simply the best place I’ve ever stayed in.

Everything has been considered by the owners, from all the glassware and plates you could ever desire to the hot tub and garden games. The owners go the extra mile to make sure you have a wonderful stay, and all of the 9 other people that stayed there had nothing but good things to say. The only few tiny things that could improve the place would be an addition of a downstairs wc for people to use, rather than using the en-suite or heading upstairs, but in reality it isn’t an issue, just a point that could improve the comfort of guests who can’t walk so well. The other issue is road noise, because it sits just off a roundabout leading to a straight road, so motorbikes and cars really put their foot down and create loud noise, this isn’t noticeable inside as the double glazing is exceptional, but when in the garden it can be quite loud at times. Without doubt I’d recommend this property to family and friends and anyone who asks.

Excellent Feb half-term week spent at Routhorpe House.

The property is exactly as advertised and 9 of us had a brilliant time! We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub especially in the snow. Spent most of our time in the amazing kitchen cooking, playing games & laughing. Had 4 children in our group aged between 5 and 12, the house had something for each of them and netflix on the TVs was an added bonus! They loved playing outside in the grounds from playing on the swing set to playing hide & seek Hosts were great, nothing was too much trouble with fantastic communication before, during and after our stay Looking forward to booking a return visit in the near future

Family of 9 on holiday and had plenty of space for everyone, well equipped modern kitchen with island and dining table for 10.

Nice conservatory leading out to a big hot tub. Living room bedrooms and showers amazing very new and at a very high specification. WiFi is amazing pretty much perfect sing all in all rooms. Great communication from the owner and felt safe with a remote accessed gate. Would highly recommend this property.

we couldn't fault anything about the property.

the decor was immaculate and to a very high standard. would deffo recommend.

Fantastic house, great for a group of 10, plenty of room, everything you needed was provided, will definitely be going back

Amazing property, it looked amazing on the photos but in real life it was so much better.

Everything immaculately clean, the kitchen had everything you could ever need to cook. There was 8 of us and we cooked a huge roast dinner with no problems. The Christmas tree and decorations were a great touch and massively appreciated. Communication with the owner was fantastic and was on hand whenever we had a query. Couldn’t recommend the property enough and it was great to see a rental that wasn’t charging extortionate prices just because it was close to Christmas. Wouldn’t hesitate to return we had a great time. Also the hot tub was the best hot tub we have ever seen in a holiday property. Thanks very much

Beautiful house, superbly equipped, very clean and so comfortable.

Gorgeous luxury hamper on arrival plus Christmas decs and table setting made it extra special. Communication with owner very efficient and helpful. Thank you.

Beautiful luxury house with everything we needed, hot tub was amazing!

Lovely views. Comfy beds, plenty of super soft towels. Gorgeous essentials hamper which was a lovely touch. The property owner was very helpful and friendly before during and after our stay.

Amazing house and facilities.

We were so impressed with everything. Beautiful hamper on arrival was a fab touch. Routhorpe is the best equipped house we have ever stayed in. Booking was seamless as was check in and out. All bedrooms the same amazing standard and size. Hot tub was a bonus. Kids lovely the play area and adults loved the warm modern feel inside. Could not fault our stay.
