We had the best time at Waggoner's Cottage - it was so clean, tidy and comfortable, with the right amount of space for a family of four.

Andrew and Jan couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating, even providing us with butter when we realised we'd forgotten to pack any! The cottage and its grounds are so calm and peaceful, it was a perfect spot for a long weekend. We loved sitting out and our girls enjoyed playing with the various outdoor toys. It was a perfect stay from start to finish.

What a wonderful place and the cottage was outstanding.

The owner was very friendly and welcoming, he even put together a welcome pack for the children, which was a lovely surprise. The cottage was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. It was the perfect place to unwind, and we enjoyed every moment of our stay. We will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this cottage.

Rural setting with lovely gardens, very relaxing and peaceful but just minutes to coast and attractions. Owners on site but not intrusive and very friendly and helpful. We would definately stay there again.

Waggoners cottage is simply wonderful.

Spotlessly clean, with plenty of room and very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you might need if you decide to self cater. The cottage has lovely gardens and backs on to a field in which we saw deer and a barn owl. There is a lovely walk close by through the fields and Bridlington is very close by. The hosts are very welcoming and attentive. Highly recommended.

Lovely holiday cottage in a picturesque setting; located in a quiet village, just off the beaten track.

The grounds are very well kept, providing a relaxing environment in which to unwind. Local wildlife consisting of birds, squirrels, rabbits, pheasant and Barn Owl add to the charm. The photos really do not do it justice. All the facilities you need, the owners have thought of everything. We will be visiting again.

The cottage is situated in a delightful, tranquil village but via green lanes within walking distance of Bridlington.

An exceptionally well appointed property - the best we have visited over the years. Immaculately clean throughout. Very nice touches - binoculars to keep an eye on the wildlife, outdoor games box, a nice welcome pack and very friendly owners. Would suit a couple or small family - with great places to visit - and we had wonderful weather for March - a great holiday property.

We have just returned after a lovely stay at Waggoner's cottage.

Cottage is clean, comfortable and decor is tasteful. The owners are close at hand if you need them but they are not intrusive. The cottage is surrounded by fields and is lovely and peaceful. We have stayed a few times and highly recommend.

It was so clean and warm with great views and lovely gardens. Our hosts Jan and Andrew were very friendly and welcoming and the guest tray was very much appreciated. For us book lovers their 'library' was a lovely surprise which we availed ourselves of. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you again Jan and Andrew.

Lovely comfortable cottage.

Located in a quiet country village. We liked it was close to Bridlington and not far to other costal towns and places of interest. The beautiful garden to nice to relax in or for children to play. The cottage facilities were excellent as were the owners. Jan and Andrew were very welcoming.

Absolutely fabulous!

The hosts were very welcoming and there were some delicious cakes waiting for us which were scrumptious. The cottage was immaculate and very comfortable with everything that you would need for your holiday. The setting was absolutely beautiful picturesque on both sides of the windows with a beautiful barn owl flying out the back on most evenings. Perfect location for exploring Bridlington and surrounding areas. We cannot recommend this cottage highly enough. It was truly amazing, we were sad to leave.

We enjoyed a very pleasant week's holiday at Waggoner's Cottage.

The property was very comfortable, well equipped and was in a ideal place to visit the different attractions easily. Owners Andrew and Jan were welcoming and friendly. We were also very lucky with the weather, which was sunny and warm, but not too hot, with only one afternoon where we had some rain.

Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful.

A really comfortable and cosy cottage, situated in peaceful and relaxing grounds, it is highly recommended. A perfect base from which to explore the surrounding area.

Well equipped - everything we needed and more besides. Well-kept garden and peaceful surroundings. Excellent location for exploring the coastal paths and the Yorkshire Wolds Way. Owners are very friendly and helpful. The welcome tray and flowers they provided were very much appreciated.

Excellent holiday cottage!

Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. We had a lovely week exploring the surrounding countryside, beaches and villages. Waggoner's Cottage is very well situated, yet, it's so quiet and peaceful! The owners are very friendly and helpful.

The only thing I would criticise is the toilet in the bathroom, very tight space, anyone with slight mobility issues could possibly struggle, my Mum had slight issues but we did mention this to the owners - the owners were fabulous, nothing too much trouble and the welcome pack of flowers and cakes was a lovely surprise

Absolutely perfect accommodation and owners are very helpful and attentive.

We would recommend this with no hesitation. Everything we wanted for a peaceful retreat but within easy reach of all tourist attractions.

We have a wonderful stay at Waggoners Cottage, it is perfectly placed for touring the area and for local days out.

The cottage is decorated and maintained to a high standard, the garden is superb and well equipt for children. Andrew and Jan were friendly hosts and were always available with information if required. We have already recommended it to several people and we will be staying again

We had a fantastic week at Waggoner's Cottage.

A great property, immaculately clean and kitted out with everything you could need. Plenty of parking at the front, and nice gardens to sit out in (too cold for us to do this unfortunately) and a big play area for the kids. A super location as well for all of the east coast attractions. we loved staying here and will certainly consider going back.

This was the perfect cottage for us in attractive and peaceful surroundings yet just a short distance from town.

The owners were extremely helpful and friendly and have furnished and equipped the cottage to a very high standard. The beds and seating are very comfortable. There is lots to see and do in the area without having to travel very far, including the amazing Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve. We didn’t manage to fit everything we wanted to do into the week so are hoping to stay again later in the year.

An exceptional cottage, immaculately clean, very comfortable, the location is perfect for walks, beach, shopping, eating, the owners are lovely people they do all they can to make your stay perfect, need anything just ask nothing is too much trouble, will be back.

We have just arrived back home from a weeks holiday at Waggoner’s cottage.

What a really lovely time we had there. The cottage is beautiful, spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable, bathroom superb with wonderful fluffy white towels, the beds were so comfortable with beautiful good quality white Cotton bedding. A lot of care, and good taste is evident in this cottage. The owners are extremely helpful and approachable, nothing is to much trouble for them. The gardens outside the cottage are absolutely beautiful, with a very large area at the bottom where you can play games, we took our 4yr old grandson who loved playing there. I unreservedly recommend Waggoner’s cottage and feel sure we will be returning.

Safe, clean, homely surroundings and great hosting from owners.

The surrounding area offers many opportunities for beach and walks away from the crowds. This property is an oasis and haven - amidst the current times this allowed a real holiday to be had. Highly recommended!

This cottage is in an excellent position about 1 mile from the town of Bridlington making easy to access the wonderful sandy beeches and town.

Superb cottage, very clean and comfortable.

Near to Bridlington and Fraisthorpe both lovely beaches and also near to many farm shops and lovely Yorkshire villages. Lots to do in a week. Very pleasant owner to greet you on arrival. Another good Sykes property.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful very comfortable and well equipped, situated in the country side but 10 mins away from Bridlington and Bempton Cliffs We were graced with the presence of a lovely barn owl hunting over the field at back of cottage.

I can not think of anything negative to say about it.

We were made very welcome by the host, we would thoroughly recommend this cottage to anyone wishing for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

We had a really lovely holiday and our stay in Waggoners cottage was really good.

The cottage had everything that you would need, also the kitchen had all you would need to cook meals, the decor throughout was very good including fresh flowers. fresh milk, bread, biscuits were there for us as well as tea and coffee. Information on all the appliances was in the kitchen and plenty of information on places to visit and the owners were on hand if you needed them. Would definitely recommend this cottage, and would be glad to return again. It was a real home from home. And plenty of places to visit in the area.

The location of the cottage is ideal for visiting so many places as well as being very peaceful.

Waggoners is extremely clean and comfortable and we were able to take advantage of sitting out in the pleasant garden.We will definitely return.

Waggoners cottage was perfect for us,the cottage and grounds were lovely,it was so peaceful,yet within easy reach of Bridlington,York,Hull,Scarborough.

if you like wildlife spotting this cottage has that too,we saw deer,squirrel,pheasants and best of all an owl flew right in front of me,I've only ever seen owls in captivity before.The owners were lovely people too.

Waggoner's Cottage is in a beautiful setting.

The gardens are tranquil and the cottage has everything you could need. If you like nature, there is plenty of wildlife to see in the back field, we even saw deer. Andrew has provided wildlife books and binoculars to take a closer look. There is a great supply of DVD's, books and games too. There are some lovely restaurants close by and we took taxi's in the evening into Bridlington which was less than £5!! We would definitely holiday in this cottage again. The owner's are very friendly.
