Directions were spot on.
Dragonfly shepherd's hut is absolutely gorgeous, very cute with everything you need for a short relaxing stay. A great location on the farm (just sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet), or as a base for visiting further afield. The only thing we would say is that the door to the shower hut needs the lock replacing as it was a bit fiddly. Also, if possible, access between Dragonfly and the shower might perhaps benefit from a gravel path? When the grass was wet in the morning we were treading grass into both the hut and the shower. However, we wouldn't hesitate to book again and to recommend to others.
We had the most wonderful stay .
. the dragonfly is beautiful and the surroundings are stunning . A fantastic place to unwind and chill . Wouldn’t think twice about returning . The owners are lovely and very accommodating We couldn’t have asked for more . We only had one boggle and that was that we had to share the bathroom with another couple . But that’s mainly because my hubby has MS so he has an urgency .. but they also were lovely and always asked us first if bathroom was needed , but some may have an issue x can’t wait to go back x
It is a very quirky place and the hut is cosy.
It has facilities for a few days stay but apart from a microwave, no cooking facilities and no hot water to the hut itself. But it was very comfortable. Walking over to the loo/shower at night was not ideal,especially if the ground was wet. And by torchlight. The door to the shower/loo would not shut properly and no heating in there so showers were quick.It was peaceful and it was lovely to see the farm animals. The owners were very welcoming and kind. There was only Netflix available on the TV, but that's OK if you want a quiet stay. I would stay again if only for a few days. Would take wellies and a bigger torch and if the loo/shower issues improved. The accommodation itself was comfy though.
