    Close to Bridlington centre. Just disappointed that we had to provide some basics such as extra toilet paper, washing up liquid, bin liners and wood for stove. Paying such high end price for this house, we did not expect to provide basic provisions. Few issues with the fuse blowing due to faulty sockets, a broken shower and temperamental heating. We have stayed in many rentals but never paid so much money, so expected attention to detail, sadly this was not the case. These issues aside, the ...

With regards to provision of basics we aim to supply the following as complimentary items to assist with your stay: - Washing Up Liquid - Sponge Scourers - Sponge cloth - Silver foil - Cling film - A Kitchen Towel - Oven glove - Hand Towel in downstairs toilets - Single box of Tassimo Coffee Containing 8 Pods (Americano) - Hand Soap, Shampoo, Body Wash & Conditioner in showers - 2 x toilet rolls in each toilet - At least 6 heavy duty bin bags (located under sink) - Stash of dishwasher tablets - Stash of Washing Machine tablets - PACK OF STARTER LOGS, Kindling & Firelighters Please be aware that this is a self-catering property and so the expectation is that you will cater for yourselves, however we want to offer a premium experience and so choose to make the above items complementary to assist with your stay. These items are necessarily designed to cover the full duration of your stay. I'm sorry that on this occasion it appears that you did not receive some of those complimentary starter items. We have taken this up with the cleaning staff and hopefully resolved this going forward. With regards to the price you paid, this was actually one of the cheapest rates of the year. Please remember that the asset value of this property is over £1m and is capable of accomodating 16 people in a luxury setting with hot tub. There is a significant capital cost and labour cost of setting up, furnishing and running a house like this and that cost has to be covered by the nightly price we charge. Property Owner

About the location

The seaside resort of Bridlington lies on the east coast of Yorkshire, south of Scarborough and Filey. Two award-winning beaches of golden sand stretch out on either side of the historic harbour, bustling with activity. Beautifully designed promenades provide everything from fun-fairs to quiet places where you can sit and watch the world go by. Shops, attractions, restaurants and the historic 'Old Town' of Bridlington offer a fascinating contrast to life on the beach, where the latest Dad's Army has been filmed, whilst the Bridlington Spa Theatre on the front provides evening entertainment. There is also the East Riding Leisure Centre, with family swimming area and a variety of other indoor activities. Further afield are the picturesque villages and scenery of the Yorkshire Wolds, the neighbouring resorts of Filey, Scarborough and Whitby and the spectacular heritage coastline. There are numerous places to visit in the area, including Bempton's RSPB bird sanctuary, Sewerby Hall, Danes Dyke and Flamborough Head with its cliffs and caves. A great area for bird and nature lovers, or simply for touring.
