    “We had a lovely time at the Annexe.”

    My wife has a few mobility issues, so the fact that it’s all on one level was a real positive for us. It even has a walk in shower. The place has a good location, close enough to the sea, and within easy walking distance to the town centre. The Annexe is very well maintained, spotlessly clean, and has everything you could need for a comfortable, relaxing stay. Outside is nice and private, and a great suntrap, if you’re lucky enough to drop on sunny weather. (We did, fortunately). It’s ...

Outside is nice and private, and a great suntrap, if you’re lucky enough to drop on sunny weather. (We did, fortunately). It’s also great if you have a dog, as the garden is enclosed, and safe. The hosts Jude and Paul are really nice people, and clearly care very much that guests have a lovely time, in quality surroundings. We would highly recommend the annexe, and hopefully we’ll be back again soon.

Settled into the bustling seaside town of Bridlington, very close to the beach and promenade, The Annexe is a well-presented single-storey property ideal for two couples, a group of friends and those with mobility issues to explore the coast of North Yorkshire.

With larger doors and an open-plan living space, be welcomed into this pleasant property with a light and airy living area boasting a large L-shaped sofa, ideal for settling down with a coffee and a good book.

The kitchen hosts many home-from-home amenities, so why not cook a heart-warming meal to be enjoyed at the dining area?

There are two bedrooms with tasteful décor, beginning with a super king zip-link that can be set up as a twin on request, through which you can reach a stylish wet room, and there is also a double with matching green décor, as well as a cloakroom.

Bridlington is a fantastic location, sporting vast sandy beaches, a harbour, a theatre and many eateries, pubs and convenience stores.

Visit The Bayle Museum to learn more about local history and heritage and try out a game of golf at the local course, before spending an afternoon making the most of the beautiful scenery at Danes Dyke Nature Reserve, Flamborough Cliffs or RSPB Bempton Cliffs.

Further from the property you will find the stunning Bay Beach and the Filey Museum, and beyond that, the popular seaside resort of Scarborough where there is a variety of amusements, seaside walks, ice cream shops and a local museum and art gallery, as well as the incredible Scarborough Castle.

BRIDLINGTON

Filey 10 miles; Scarborough 20 miles.

The seaside resort of Bridlington lies on the east coast of Yorkshire, south of Scarborough and Filey. Two award-winning beaches of golden sand stretch out on either side of the historic harbour, bustling with activity. Beautifully designed promenades provide everything from fun-fairs to quiet places where you can sit and watch the world go by. Shops, attractions, restaurants and the historic 'Old Town' of Bridlington offer a fascinating contrast to life on the beach, where the latest Dad's Army has been filmed, whilst the Bridlington Spa Theatre on the front provides evening entertainment. There is also the East Riding Leisure Centre, with family swimming area and a variety of other indoor activities. Further afield are the picturesque villages and scenery of the Yorkshire Wolds, the neighbouring resorts of Filey, Scarborough and Whitby and the spectacular heritage coastline. There are numerous places to visit in the area, including Bempton's RSPB bird sanctuary, Sewerby Hall, Danes Dyke and Flamborough Head with its cliffs and caves. A great area for bird and nature lovers, or simply for touring.
