Really nice house and garden.

House was well equipped with everything we needed. Cayton is a great location for visiting all areas around East Coast. Will definitely be back again.

This is the second time we have stopped at seaside house.

The bungalow was spotless and clean.The beds were so comfortable and the garden so peaceful and quiet.The bungalow is a credit to the owners.And we will be back.

This was our third stay at Seaside House and what a brilliant time it was!

The bungalow is beautifully clean and homely. It has a happy atmosphere and feels like it is loved by its owners. We spent a lot of time outside in the peaceful and private garden. So wonderful to hear all the birdsong and the sound of the trees. Our greyhound loved all the new sniffs. A truly relaxing break. Thank you to the owners for our very thoughtful welcome gifts! Much appreciated. We have already booked visits number four for next year.

Yet another great stay at this lovely house (third visit).

Spotlessly clean with super comfy beds.As usual, everything we needed was there and the owners obviously put their guests comfort first.The garden is quiet and secluded and a lovely place to sit in the sunshine, any doggies will love it. We will definiately be returning, thank you for letting us share your beautiful holiday home (wish it was ours! lol).

The location to beach and bus stop ideal perfection furnishing garden kitchen equipment bedding etc etc all top notch quality will definately return bedrooms as stated just adequate for room but i bring alot of clothes loads of wardrobe drawer space i only have little legs but easily managed step onto grass slip mat for showe perfect i am 68 no probs well done owners on a perfect place x

Reached out too owner on a couple of things mainly safety aspects not for any other reason than suggesting few things as my dog slipped on rug in main area and my self which resulted in 2 days in the house due that bath slippy and bath mat and floor mat and front door mat slippy advised owner bush out side needed cutting as was sticking right out sharp for dogs and children think Sykes need too express more how steep the decline is out the back via step I struggled plus would advise the drop too the garden either side be fenced or something as a young child possibly this could be a problem too .

the place was spotless would give it full stars all I wanted too do was advise owner but reply was not returned as in the manner it was given ,seemly elderly people have visited with no problems ,I my self would say if you have mobility problems maybe this place not for you ,you needed too squeeze in too walk around beds hubby and I had too go and buy a bed roll up as bed was so uncomfortable ,such a shame I did not get the understanding when I messaged owner as all I wanted too do was advise nothing more

Perfect set up and location is the best

Very clean and welcoming on arrival.

The Christmas tree and lights outside was a nice touch. The property was clean and comfortable. The beds were great quality too. The location is good too. Easy to get to Scarborough and Filey. We had a takeaway meal from the Golden Dragon in Filey on New Year’s Day which was good too. A great place to stay. Thank You

We loved our stay at Seaside House.

Extremely comfortable and cosy. The home was beautifully decorated as it was our Christmas break. Our dog loved staying too. Very close to fantastic walks along the coast and of course Filey, Scarborough and Whitby.

This is our second visit to seaside cottage, the place is amazing.

Absolutely loved staying at your house - the location was amazing and the house was so just perfect - it was like a home from home.

We couldn't fault the Property.

It was comfortable. Had a great welcome pack with even something for our little dog. Everything worked. Good parking. Great garden. Near Scarborough and filey.

One of the best and cleanest properties we have stayed in.

Excellent, really enjoyed our stay. 2 small improvements could be made. 1. Nest of tables or a small coffee table in the lounge would be good 2. A larger duvet (Wider) in the back bedroom. Otherwise we would highly recommend the property and will come again.

What can i say about Seaside house well a more charming well equipped quiet Retreat you could not find garden lovely nearby bus route into scarborough etc.

Very comfortable and cosy bungalow.

Great location and easy access to visit other places on the Yorkshire coast. No problems or issues with anything during our stay. Garden was absolutely lovely and the welcome pack was a nice touch. The only downside I can think of is that only 1 dog is allowed which is such a shame as would love to bring our 2 dogs here. Would highly recommend though as a peaceful place to stay. Thank you.

We absolutely loved staying here, the location is great, easy walking distance to the beach and very central for Filey and Scarborough.

We also visited Whitby on the steam train and had time in Bridlington. The bungalow itself was very clean and well equipped, the welcome pack was much appreciated and the garden was lovely for our 2 year old collie. We honestly couldn't fault anything, we would definitely book again, thank you.

This was our second visit to Seaside House and we had an absolutely wonderful time!

We were lucky with the weather so spent a lot of time in the pretty and fully enclosed garden. The house is very clean, comfortable and cozy and we had everything we needed for our stay. The beach is only ten minutes walk and is breathtaking. We saw seals from the cliffs and also puffins nearby at Filey Brigg. We have already booked for next year and can’t want to return!

Lovely property with lots of places to visit.

On the bus route for Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington and a short walk to Cayton Bay. Good off road parking and a lovely garden which our dog loved. Property really well kept. Crockery was for 4 people, a few extra plates would have reduced the need to wash up prior to breakfast or mid meal. Some guidance on using the wood burner would be helpful, however we didn't actually need to use it during our holiday. Tea,coffee, milk, wine, dog poo bags and dog biscuits were very much appreciated. We had a great holiday at a homely peaceful venue and would definitely like return. Thank you very much.

Just perfect!

Well what can I say. We have stayed in various properties for the last 40 years and this is by far the best we have stayed in. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a perfect break. We were blessed with glorious weather all week which was a bonus and the garden was beautiful and private which my daughters doggie just loved lounging in. The location was spot on for the beach and exploring the surrounding area.The welcome pack was a lovely touch too with items that were well thought out. Thank you for letting us share your lovely home, you must be very proud owners.We will be definately be coming back soon. Thank you so much.

Cleanest holiday property I’ve stayed in.

Beds very comfortable. Bedding, furnishings etc all high quality. 5 minutes walk to beach and pub. Didn’t use it but a regular bus service right outside. Maybe some Pyrex bowls and casserole dishes please. We were able to enjoy the lovely garden in the sunshine. I could quite happily live here Many thanks Elaine

Beautiful bungalow which is fully equipped with everything you would need and more.

Very clean and comfortable. Ruby our dog enjoyed every day. Location was excellent, walking distance to the beach and cliff walk. Close to a number of pubs which served home made food. Cayton Bay is located in the middle so Scarborough is close one way and Bridlington the other. Would definitely recommend this bungalow. Thank you for letting us stay in your home. We have already rebooked for next March.

Lovely cottage.

Nice touches about the place. Warm and cosy. Good location nearby pub bus stop and shop not too far. We really appreciated the effort made with the Christmas decorations as we had been informed by Sykes this would not be the case so it was a nice surprise. Well equiped enough to cook Christmas dinner could have done with a couple of pyrex type dishes but thats minor. Great nearby scenary for walking. Overall a great stay which made for a great Christmas break.

Exceptional place to stay

We have been staying in holiday cottages for over 25 years now and this was by far the cleanest and most comfortable cottage that we have stayed in.

Can't wait to come back and be able to get the benefit from the lovely garden, bus stop at the door, bar 2 minutes walk, beach 5 minutes walk. The house really is a credit to the owners and of course the cleaner!! Thanks for a great holiday

The location is great, a short walk to the stunning Cayton Bay and easy access to Scarborough.

The house was very cosy and well looked after, with lovely attention to detail. We recieved a really nice welcome pack full of treats and we felt very at home here, and would definitely visit again.

Seaside house was a beautiful bungalow immaculately clean and everything there you needed.

Also biscuits for us and the dog didn't get left out .Lovely bottle of wine but unfortunately don't drink would highly recommend this house .Spent a lovely week there october 2024

A really comfortable property which is well maintained and designed for a relaxing stay.

The garden is charming and private. Its location is ideal, being close to a bus stop and within easy walking distance of the sea and beach.

The bungalow was clean and comfortable.

We stayed in this bungalow last year and were impressed enough to book again this year. It is handy for Scarborough as there is a bus stop directly outside. We were able to catch the bus into town and then go by train or bus to York, Whitby etc.

Everything we could possibly need was provided for. We especially liked the location as it was a short walk to the beach, pubs and shops. The garden was great for our dog as it was all enclosed. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of staying here.

We had the most wonderful week staying in Seaside Cottage.

It is beautifully clean, comfortable and homely. The garden is fully enclosed, ideal for our dog to potter about in. It is a real sun trap too with gorgeous birdsong! The beds are comfortable and we had all the kitchen equipment that we needed for cooking. The location is fantastic as it’s only a short walk to the breathtaking beach and cliff walks. The welcome gifts were very thoughtful, thank you. We have already booked for next year and look forward to returning!

First holiday in years to be really clean.

The bed linen was fresh with several pillows to choose from and the towels clean and soft. There were tea towels spare rolls of paper in bathroom. The welcome pack was more than generous with fresh milk chocolate biscuits and teas and coffee. There was a bottle of wine in the fridge. The bungalow was beautifully decorated and so well maintained even the gardened was tidy and dog safe. Very much home from home. The property owners have much to be proud of.

Lovely place to stay, warm clean and comfortable.

Very dog safe garden (completely enclosed) which is very important to me. We enjoyed our week very much especially Filey.

The cottage is excellent there is every single item you need its comfortable and the garden is lovely and all enclosed, we will be booking again this cottage, we loved the area and the bedrooms are pristine.

The bungalow was ina quiet location with a bus stop right outside.

On entering the property we found it to be very clean and welcoming. It was very well equipped with everything that we needed for our stay. The gardens were well maintained and the rear garden was nice and private to sit out in when the weather was nice. We would definitely recommend to other people and we may be back next year.

This property was perfect for us with the dog.

Only one comment, as we are older a handle over the bath would have been useful when showering, just a safety feature. Superb location with bus stop outside and really lovely place, highly recommended.

It was a lovely surprise to walk through the door to a lovely clean Bungalow which made us feel home from home.

Fantastic bungalow ,and everything you could want is there to make your stay just like being at home.

It's so peaceful there and only a 2 minute walk to the pub. The bus stop is just outside the property thus making it so easy to get to Filey , Bridlington and Scarborough. Would stay here again and thank-you for the lovely welcome pack
