“The location & views were amazing - that is where the good points end!”

The property itself is in desperate need of redecoration there are marks all over it, the decoration is shoddy - grouting from the floor missing, black mould in the bathroom & round the windows - even the toilet seat doesn't fit properly. We've sent pics via Sykes. The homemade cakes were lovely but it is a shame other elements of the welcome back were months out of date. The bed was AWFUL with some horrid feather topper. My partner slept on the sofa every night & even that is old and saggy ...

We've sent pics via Sykes. The homemade cakes were lovely but it is a shame other elements of the welcome back were months out of date. The bed was AWFUL with some horrid feather topper. My partner slept on the sofa every night & even that is old and saggy. The bathroom door is hard to shut properly & then open. There is also a no shoes inside policy apparently which was not mentioned before we got there & read the intro booklet.

We are so sorry and very upset to hear you feel this way about our little cottage. We generally receive excellent reviews and this has somewhat knocked us sideways, we will of course look at all your points, we are certainly unaware of any no shoes policy and will review the welcome booklet to check the wording.
